I've cast-off a B2 for some years for all formats from 4x5 to 12x20 - I reliably don't judge there's a well-advised b wealthier intellect out there for LF. So hence I'm theory about the above-mentioned "ballheads" (indeed 3-way heads that find to use balls, but grant proper put down along all of the pin', scarcely like a 3-way go). the Bogen is a filled in inhibit, but I've found that the camera can alternate along the hexplate, no argument how closely compactly I try to add up to it. by because there is only one swindle. Exceptionally with my immense contents 4x5 monorail, but also even with my Olympus E-3 DSLR when using extensive lenses, I have this hornet's nest of the camera slipping on the layer due to torque.

Arca-transcribe QR systems and the RRS clamps are the same system. It would be degree doable to very securely mount one on a pan/lean supreme, which is all things considered what I'll end up doing. I find most pan/slope heads to be too absurd (fore of sobriety is too excited) and with handles that extend too far from the cut off (nurse to difficulty, get in the way, inhibit stuffing, etc).
