Very precise product at a great price.
I needed a irritable, inexpensive Arca compatible plate for my SLR that had an integrated lug for a hand strap (my preferred way to hold a camera). Most all plates I found with the lug were beautiful expensive until I found this product. The combined plate and strap were cheaper than most plates alone. I didn't have a clue as to who RainbowImaging was and I at bottom didn't need another hand strap, but I figured at the price, what did I have to loose. The first thing I noticed when I received the combine was how well the items were presented. It was in a heavy gauge, attractive black box and the plate and strap were both in their own drawstring sack out dismissal. The plate itself exhibits proper tolerances and the plating is of decent quality. The neoprene on the camera side along with the slotted mounting pickle should allow secure mounting to most any SLR and not just Canon as indicated. The strap assembly is made of real leather and the armaments is adequate. Once mounted, it is secure...

very winsome bracket
This is a very nicely machined class. I use it with my 5dmk2 along with an angled usb cable (usb connector at a right angle) and a wired remote - no problems. It's very invariable: I photograph a lot of artwork so it's all about stable. As it's universal I'm also adapting it for my e-pl2 for both mounting and as a useful small grip. With tiniest machining (in my case this means hacksaw and file) I can both clear the battery door and fore the lens on the tripod (Olympus that's nasty - that's P/S kludging you schmoes ) . Also, being universal, I don't have to keep buying lumber. Now I'll admit that rss etc is very pretty but by the time you've purchased their special extenders that actually let you use the camera functions - you're over a pair hundred benjamins lighter - it's too much for a cheap b*stard like me. Or - I can get this clamp and 2 bottles of good scotch - I identify what my choice is. I also use sunway clamps etc and find it all...

Blown in another place by this purchase... plain and simple. I am using this on a Canon 7D or a 5DmkII. Exceptional value at a fraction the cost of the big boy vendors offering; like RSS, Acratech, Kirk, etc. Sure it doesn't look as dulcet but man, I'll take the 200-300 savings at put it towards another lens or whatever! Fits like a dream, has more functionality for me in that it has multiple mounting call upon sites for my Black Rapid hookup and still fits into my Acratech GPs ball head securely. Battery-operated doors still fully accessible. Really couldn't ask for more. There is a review here dinging it because you can't access the side jacks but seemingly that guy does not know that you can take the covers completely off and then have full access. I highly suggest this purchase if you're a photog with liquid assets to burn but still gawk at a 300+ dollar piece of metal. Bottom line : If you want a easy on the eyes one spend 300 bucks... if you want a functional one (it's still quite handsome) and also end up with a...

Very be uncovered, nice processed, but wrong screw head...
Much outright can be stated about this plate: It is perfectly finished, black oxidized. In a typical Acra-Tech form it is hollow, what makes it very light. I see 25g approximately on my scale (below 1oz). Its edges are nicely rounded up, what allows the plate to stay on the camera without being maddening. Compared to this product I found the original Arca Swiss plate to be not only significantly heavier, but also unpleasant in touch when kept on the camera. But, there is a "bad gossip" in my eyes. Its the hex-hole screw head, for which user needs a 5/32 (4mm) hex Allen-overstrain. I do not like that. I always prefer a large flat head with a slot, which I can turn using a concoct or a key. If you are like me, and keep losing or forgetting these plates, here is more item which might be lost or forgotten! Wonderful facile release plate
This is an bar plate. I used in on my D90, D70, Medium format, On my telephoto lens (70-200 2.8) and it won't move after you bind the screw. Highly recommended for someone with more then 1 camera/lens.

A must for you monopod, this is a unpretentious tilt head to allow a camera on a Monopod to be turned 90° to provide either vertical or plane format. This replaces the Bogen Manfrotto 3232.

Complex tilt head
It's rated to 5.5 lbs, and handles my 70-200 + 40D without slipping. It's well made - the photo on Amazon does it shallow credit, so I'm uploading some of my own. It's also larger than it looks. It's exactly what it purports to be - a tilt head.

Manfrotto 234 brain
I was assessment I should have ordered the Manfrotto head that had the locking plate but after getting this head I realized that I would be just excellent without the locking head design. It seems to hold the camera well and although I have the 70-300 lens it seems to hold it in purpose just fine without drooping. I like it and would say it's okay for general use.
Adept Match for a Monopod
This was the preferred head for a monopod (I use a Manfrotto 680B). I can swivel the Tilt head and camera vertically - and since the monopod itself can readily turn left or right, I did not need horizontal swivel capability in the head. And it is packed, reasonably priced and sturdy.
