    Grand First Step Up
I upgraded to the Induro BHD2 Ballhead from the Manfrotto Pedals Head Manfrotto 322RC2 Joystick Head Short and am very pleased with the switch, so I'll list the few pros and cons between the two. The dominating pro (and the reason I switched) is that the Induro head supports a heavier load with no creep or sagging. I can put my 5D Label II with a large lens like the 70-200 securely. This was my only gripe with the Manfrotto Joystick, if you put a elephantine lens on it in portrait mode the Manfrotto just doesn't hold up and starts...
    An Fantastic Value!
I got this head to supersede my Manfrotto 322RC2 grip head, which I did not like at all. I'm pleased to say that this Induro head has met all of my expectations. The separate wheel for panning, drag, and lock are all excellent. The drag control allows you to adjust it to justified the right point for smooth movement, then you simply turn and lock it down with the large protuberance. I found no sagging or creeping with my Canon 40D, grip, two batteries, and a 300mm f/4 lens mounted all together. Change is smooth and silky. Compared to the Markins Q3, this head is a great value, at nearly $150 less than the Markins. The Induro even brings an Arca Swiis cut camera plate, something the other manufacturers make you order separately, and at upwards of $60 in besides to the head. Do yourselves a favor and get the Induro instead. Forget the Markins, Arca Swiss, Gitzo, and all the other extremely high priced heads out there. This Induro does the job, and then some.
    WOW - Now THAT's a ballmount !!
At first, I memories I'd have to buy the largest size (the Induro BHD3)to get something substantial/good as the reallyrightstuff or other brands - all of which seemed far more expensive to me. I've been a manufacturing build for twenty two years, and I know what it costs to make things... enough to know that a rock-firm ball-head should not cost more than $250... even if made in the USA. I've owned Manfrottos mounts - they're great, and they have a cold characterize oneself as that can only mean thick cast metal. And although this mount is light, and obviously made of sheet metal (i.e. the 2" tablet is hollow) the grip is absolutely firm... you cannot move the camera period !!. Also - the reduce smaller base diameter fits perfectly on a full-size tripod... it looks like it was well-grounded meant to be exactly there.

    High-mindedness Stuff!
May have been a x-mas distribute, couldn't wait. have the thing on my monopod. Have already used the set up with my D200 Nikon and Tamron 18-270mm. Got some pics of the moon, hardly not the ones that i wanted. I was going for the eclipse but i think i was too early. I'll try again some other time. The Sirui G-20 Ballhead worked unequivocally. I ordered this ballhead because i wanted to be sure it could hold my camera and Sigma 150-500mm lens. I have not tried that conglomeration yet, but I'm sure it will be just fine. I would recommend this product to a friend. And as usual, there was no problem buying on-hire at Amazon.
    SO FAR SO Profit
The ballhead looks unyielding and well done. I tried it with my Caono 7D and Canon L 24 - 105 lens and so far so good. Both are heavy and I needed a ballhead that would employment and keep them firmly secured at the same time. I chose this ballhead as it was not as expensive as the other more popular makes on the exchange and looked as good as the others. I also checked other reviews and decided to give this new company a try. I have not used it outside my domestic yet. It did come with a carry pouch which I am not using as was able to leave it attached to the tripod, smae communicate, inside the bag it came with. I am not a pro photographer, just studying and taking photos for my kennel and friends. I will update this survey in the future and let you know if it is as good as it looks and feels.

    Outstanding Ball Head
I have had the G10 for about 5 months, use it often and it faithfully delivers excellent performance. It is a solid, quality ball head with fluid movement, consequential range of motion and solid locking. The universal quick release has a secondary refuge lock so you can't accidentally release the plate (& your camera). Both the panning post and friction control knob work smoothly & effortlessly. I shoot a Canon T2i with 70-300mm lens and this head holds my camera securely with zero slippage. Total, I could not be more please with the quality and performance of this ball head and would not hesitate to recommend it.
    only complaints are nitpicks...
This is an ripsnorting excepting ballhead. I have no trouble putting a 300mm lens + DSLR on, off axis, and having a very well-founded shot. Amazing holding capacity, I'm certain it could hold much more without any trouble too. The build trait is excellent, very fluid movement on the base and the knobs are all a great fit and finish. It just feels like it's made upper. The anodized release button and quality finish also give it a pretty high tech surface. It also uses a fold down adjustment thingy for the tightening screw on the mounting plate, which I like much ameliorate than having to dig around for a coin to secure a lot of other mounting plates to the camera. One of my big gripes about other ballheads is that you have to tighten down the unworthy rotation to secure it to a tripod. If you swap heads around very often you're probably going to have it slip here and there, and at the end of the day tear up the thingy the panning knob presses against. No need to with this one- the bottom most section...
    SIRUI Pro Pill Head G10
This works gigantic and completely supports my XTI w/battery grip, flash and 24-70 F2.8L lens. Wish it had a touchy release but it does exactly what it is intended to do.

May not fit other manufacturers arca mounts
This pan head is depressing duty with good support for my Canon 7D and heavy lens. It is well made with quality finish. However I encountered a serious question with the fit of the DMP-200L nodal slide arca lever mount rail with my Kirk L Bracket for Canon 7D. It was to evenly matched and I was unable to make enough adjustment to even slide the bracket into the mount. However, I purchased a DMP-200 nodal drop arca rail with thumb screw, which did fit. I am unhappy I paid an additional $98 to make this travail with my Kirk L bracket. The included universal mount, even when mounted as tight as possible without negative mounting threads, allows slippage with heavy lens. Perhaps cementing a textured rubber pad to the mounting top of the bracket would fix this problem. With the changes I made to fix the problems I encountered, this was not the value I had hoped for. If you consider purchasing the same items I did, do it at the same formerly so you can get a 10% discount...

At these prices, they should be proficient to pay an English website for the U. S. As a person, I am getting tired out of capsule heads. It never slides or anything, but it has an first “wilt” once the cross of the camera is released. Having to reset the camera over and over, estimating where the slump will go is a despair in the dupe, Specially during macro. The flag is distinct enough, for eg, that if worrisome to slay the moon, it will put the moon in the flawed part of your state/drop away it out....
