Talented cheap arca-swiss style universal plate
Exceeded my expectations for a very economical arca-swiss style universal plate. Well finished and solid with stiff, grippy rubber facing.

I bought this for my Extremely Right Stuff tripod head. I didn't want to spend the big bucks on another particularly L bracket. This plate works fine and is permanently attached to my other camera.

Virtue plate with affordable price!
I was bet on to buy this product. I bought Generation 4 before to use with my 500/2.8 and I also have RRS plate. I love them. When I saw this product and its price, I just wanted to give it a try (for my Nikon 300/2.8 VR). From the fallout info, I'm supposed to buy LP-115 for that lens. I thought I ordered the wrong one, but actually this LP-100 frenzy perfectly with Nikon 300/2.8 VR foot. I even think it would be a little too long for LP-115. Anyway, the status of the product is great. It does not look cheapo as I would expect. It comes with everything needed. However, one fetish that I can notice, it's a little bit heavier than RRS at the same size. But it's subtle though. If you want to save some $$, this is it.

Well-meant lens plate
If you necessity a lens plate with anti-twist tabs, the entire RI LP-nnn series works really well. And the evaluate is really right.One nice feature is the slot for the mounting screw comes to within 1/2" of the anti-misstatement tab. I have a couple of small footprint spotting scopes (and some mini clamps) that need this temporary distance to engage the tab. On some competing lens plates, the slot stops too far away from the tab, depiction the anti-twist feature useless.I also find the centerline 1/4" accessory hole comes in at the ready for all kinds of ad hoc mounting applications (e.g. mini-clamp to make a nodal slide or macro condemn, mini-ballhead for outboard mic, etc.). I have competing lens plates that lack this loophole, and I quickly come to miss it.As for compatibility, I own dozens of Arca-Swiss style plates and clamps from seven peculiar manufacturers (including Arca-Swiss). Works, but gives a picayune
Does the job in the end, but I noticed that the tenure isn't as tight with a Monoball Z1 Flip-lock quick release mechanism as arca-swiss brand plates. There is a skimpy slide forward and backward when I use this with a Sony 70-400mm G lens and tripod collar. I don't mark it will completely slide off, but it makes me nervous about using the plate in the long term, and I will probably supplant this plate with an Arca-Swiss brand plate.

What a worst disappointment! I bought one of these so-called arca swiss compatible lens plates for mounting to a Sigma lens tripod neckband. The finish quality of the plate is fine. While the plate has the correct shape, the plate is manufactured slightly too narrow so the plate cannot be secured to an arca swiss tripod employer. This plate just slides loosely within the arca swiss mount. I just wasted my time and (money if I don't get a refund.) What was I thinking to try one of these plates. I impartial ordered a second mounting plate of the same brand like the plate that came with my tripod head. Do not decay your time purchasing these plates if you are expecting them to work with an arca swiss compatible tripod head. THEY DON'T. The manufacturing of these plates paucity to be corrected!
