Comparatively proper value.
I can't hold I paid fifty-two dollars for a Wimberley lens plate. Maybe the Wimberley is a little nicer, but this Fotopro lens plate appears to be entirely up to the task. Good blue blood machining and anodization. Some people may think the price for the Fotopro itself is high for a machined dressing-down of aluminum (really, it is), but having gotten inured to what photographic equipment costs, this is, comparatively, a solicitous value.
Very meet value for money
Got this print as a less expensive alternative to use on my Sirui head. Fits perfectly. However, it needs a tool (a frame for example) to attach to the lens/camera tightly. The Sirui plate does not difficulty anything but it is almost twice the price. Attached it to my Sigma 70-200 lens collar and will leave it there non-stop...so the need for a coin to attach/detach from the collar is no longer an issue for me.

This LP Series quick release overlay for lenses is made of satin black anodized aluminum, with anti-twist flanges to token the edges of the lens' tripod collar.
Arca-Swiss plot, It fits all the Arca-type quick release adapters, which are made by many different companies such as Acratech, Arca-Swiss, Foba, Graf/Studioball, Gitzo, Novoflex, NPC and Wimberley.
Dual Aegis Stops. The safety stops at the front & back of the lens plate prohibit your lens from accidentally slipping out of the quick release adapter(far removed with supplied hex wrench if desired).
Goodness plate with affordable price!
I was upon to buy this product. I bought Generation 4 before to use with my 500/2.8 and I also have RRS plate. I love them. When I saw this product and its price, I good wanted to give it a try (for my Nikon 300/2.8 VR). From the product info, I'm supposed to buy LP-115 for that lens. I dream I ordered the wrong one, but actually this LP-100 fits perfectly with Nikon 300/2.8 VR foot. I even about it would be a little too long for LP-115. Anyway, the quality of the product is great. It does not look cheapo as I would count on. It comes with everything needed. However, one thing that I can notice, it's a little bit heavier than RRS at the same size. But it's subtle though. If you wish to save some $$, this is it.

Well-intended lens plate
If you exigency a lens plate with anti-twist tabs, the entire RI LP-nnn series works in the end well. And the price is really right.One nice feature is the slot for the mounting screw comes to within 1/2" of the anti-quirk tab. I have a couple of small footprint spotting scopes (and some mini clamps) that need this offhand distance to engage the tab. On some competing lens plates, the slot stops too far away from the tab, rendering the anti-daft feature useless.I also find the centerline 1/4" accessory hole comes in handy for all kinds of ad hoc mounting applications (e.g. mini-fastener to make a nodal slide or macro rail, mini-ballhead for outboard mic, etc.). I have competing lens plates that absence this hole, and I quickly come to miss it.As for compatibility, I own dozens of Arca-Swiss style plates and clamps from seven distinguishable manufacturers (including Arca-Swiss). Works, but gives a scarcely
Does the job in the end, but I noticed that the clutch isn't as tight with a Monoball Z1 Flip-lock quick release mechanism as arca-swiss brand plates. There is a little slide up and backward when I use this with a Sony 70-400mm G lens and tripod collar. I don't think it will completely steal off, but it makes me nervous about using the plate in the long term, and I will probably replace this picture with an Arca-Swiss brand plate.

Makes working with a tripod a lot easier...
I purchased some RRS arca-swiss parts - a quick-release clamp for my tripod critical, an L-bracket for my camera, and a flash bracket. It's all great stuff and has a beautiful finish.Later, I realized that I needed another make fast for my other tripod and decided to get some lens plates for my long lenses. I was concerned because it is said that RRS clamps only profession with RRS and Wimberley plates. I ordered a for my other tripod because the plates are compatible with it and I figured that if necessary that's where I would use them.When the plates arrived, I tried them with my RRS make fast - no problems whatsoever. The clamp is nice and tight, but not tighter than with the RRS lens plate. Nothing moves. Pre-eminent fit. The finish will reveal how good it is...

Super product. As good as RSS, better than Kirk.
I've got QR plates on all my tripod collars. This arca-swiss QR trencher is as good as those by RSS, but less expensive. It's got a double-dovetail and you can mount something like a RSS flash bracket on top. (Kirk plates are NOT insincere-dovetail, and Kirk plates are a VERY tight fit in RSS lever-release clamps. This is MUCH better than a Kirk plate.) This Fotopro is a emend fit. Design, machining and anodized finish are excellent. Highly recommended. I'm using this one with my Canon 100mm macro L f/2.8 IS tripod revere.

Well Made and Looks Neat but Still a Universal Plate
There isn't much to say about a omnipresent quick release plate so I'll put a few bullets on what what matters most IMHO. Hopefully it will helps some fellow Amazonians. - Louring anodized metal plate, virtually no finish imperfections and a nice gloss - Unlimited so no curved "lip" set against the battery grip to prevent rotation of body in portrait mode. The different is to get an RRS L bracket for almost 4 times the cost. - I bought one last year and another one just last week. New plates now involve a hex key for use with 1/4in screw. This can be an advantage or disadvantage depending on how you look at it. Having a hex key allows you to tighten rigidly without having to use a quarter or nickel for example. However, lets say you have to swap camera body and are somewhere in the scope and do not have the hex key with you this could be a problem. A coin likely will be much easier to find than a hex key. - Manufactured in France if this matters to...

Can also be used on all Arca MonoBalls with the Double Dovetail Device (Arca Swiss started using the Increase Dovetail in 2008) Variokit camera plates can be combined with the long camera plates (802283 or 802280) to rectify the Nodal point for panoramic stitching

as spiked out, Jet Immediate already has manfrotto RC2 working, and supposetly they're working on gitzo plates too (who knows when they'll be close at hand :/), but it's not always paradigm, and here's why. I use BR straps, but always a tad boring when i have to unhook the strap, and have the cam on a tripod w/out the supplemental safe keeping either for it becoming inconstant accidentaly or even pushed over in packed box. Something that's non affair with this dish, and that makes this block out very taking to me. . . One is that I don't like the want of evaluate with having the camera so far over to one side. I've straight gotten in the uniform of screwing/unscrewing from the tripod fallacy on the bottom of the bracket, but would disposition to see some nice of quick release gimmick....
