The p0 is a extremist tripod head design due to it precision, ease of use and its extraordinarily strong, concentric and unvarying locking force. Lightest, Strongest, Affordable, Most Consequent Feeling to Use.
I had some bad feeling ordering this P0 Ball head, I've been shooting for 25 years and it doesn't look anything like I'm cast-off to seeing. I JUST PUT MY MARKINS & RRS BALL HEADS ON E-BAY!!! Wow, if you are a Pro or you like to pretend you are, do yourself a favor and try this Arca-Swiss P0 Foremost, I could not believe how Fast and Smooth and Solid and (here's the Biggie) HOW NATURAL it is to instantly have your One hand reposition and bolt down any angle shot in less than 3 Seconds. When I felt the package that was delivered I was worried, it was far to light to be the critical, I thought it was just the plates and the head was back ordered, Nope, It's Seriously Light, But once you atmosphere it in your hand you know why these Swiss Rock when it comes to precision instruments. Appropriate design, great ballhead!
So, being made by Arca-Swiss, this ballhead oozes exactitude and quality. I got the P0 because of its inverted design. (Being one of the lightest ballheads out there doesn't hurt either.) I've only seen one other ballhead, the Acratech GP, meant this way as well. Perfect panoramic shots are just part of using it. Come to think of it, why would you NOT want the panning ground on top of the ball? Anyway, yes it's fast and easy to use. However, the new plate design concerns me. Until the P0, all Arca-Swiss (and AS compatible) plates were significantly wider than this new plate. To me it looks like the design team was forced to make these plates smaller in call for to keep the head small. Which it is. I just put this thing on a Benro Travel Angel, and it's about perfect. It does keep the feet wider when folded, than the pocket stock head, but the whole thing still fits in the travel bag that it came with. I highly recommend this ballhead. The only...

Dedicated cheap arca-swiss style universal plate

To the nth degree Well Please With the Product
After a lengthly fact-finding on what the best rapid connect would be for my tripod and camera, I found the Manfrotto Rc2. Upon receiving if very express from the seller I tried it out and woo, it sure was better than the cheapee one's on the market. I tried it out one cold morning (20 degrees) and it was very tractable to use in the cold weather when fingers tend not to work so well. I would recommend the product to other populace.
Tripod quick release adapter
I wanted quick release proficiency on my small travel tripod and this works great! Easily mounts to either 1/4" or 3/8" top draw on of my tripod head via a "screw-in" adapter on the RC2. Comes with a 3157N quick release connect plate I mounted on my Nikon D80. Very loosely and secure. Great quality. When mounted to the tripod it only extends the compacted travel for ages c in depth by about 1/2" as the adapter pivots with the tripod ball head to the side for storage. Highly recommended. I was initially looking at an full Bogen head with this type adapter but this option saved money and allowed me to use the inventive ball head on my tripod. A very smart idea/option from Manfrotto BOGEN.
Straight and secure system!
This quick release system performs only the way it should. The quality of materials is excellent! The flip lock assures that your camera isn't prosperous anywhere when you attach to the tripod. Very quick and easy!

Works fine fantastic with Really Right Stuff lever clamp!
Since not all Arca style plates are the same, and In the end Right Stuff (RRS) even says on their website that not all plates from other manufacturers work with their lever quick release brace, I thought I'd leave a review. This plate works great with my RRS lever clamp, so if you were fluctuating to buy don't be. Build quality is excellent and the price at the time I ordered was $39.99, $60 less than the comparable RRS replacement foot for the Nikon 70-200 2.8 VR.

Did not tie to lens well
The foot fit into my Arca-Swiss clasp easy enough but it would not attach to the lens tight so there was a lot of movement. The original Nikon foot secures rigorously panty hose without any movement.
On the same wave length with the New Slidefix Quick Relase System. Can also be used on all Arca MonoBalls with the Double Dovetail Device (Arca Swiss started using the Clone Dovetail in 2008)

I use BR straps, but always a tad knocked out when i have to unhook the strap, and have the cam on a tripod w/out the superfluous guaranty either for it becoming insecure accidentaly or even pushed over in overcrowded box. Something that's non big problem with this course, and that makes this goal very taking to me. . . One is that I don't like the need of equalize with having the camera so far over to one side. The other outflow is that I, like many other photographers I recognize, have gone with an L category (Honestly Truth Things, Kirk, one or two others). I've due gotten in the praxis of screwing/unscrewing from the tripod indentation on the bottom of the category, but would lady-love to see some tender-hearted of quick release inclination....
