Horrible cheap arca-swiss style universal plate

Creditable value
I bought this for my Actually Right Stuff tripod head. I didn't want to spend the big bucks on another dues L bracket. This plate works fine and is permanently attached to my other camera.

Comparatively adroit value.
I can't be convinced of I paid fifty-two dollars for a Wimberley lens plate. Maybe the Wimberley is degree nicer, but this Fotopro lens plate appears to be entirely up to the task. Good supremacy machining and anodization. Some people may think the price for the Fotopro itself is high for a machined gather of aluminum (really, it is), but having gotten inured to what photographic equipment costs, this is, comparatively, a OK champion value.
Very honourableness value for money
Got this layer as a less expensive alternative to use on my Sirui head. Fits perfectly. However, it needs a tool (a concoct for example) to attach to the lens/camera tightly. The Sirui plate does not want anything but it is almost twice the price. Attached it to my Sigma 70-200 lens collar and will leave it there interminably...so the need for a coin to attach/detach from the collar is no longer an issue for me.

Makes working with a tripod a lot easier...
I purchased some RRS arca-swiss parts - a quick-release vice for my tripod head, an L-bracket for my camera, and a flash bracket. It's all great stuff and has a bonny finish.Later, I realized that I needed another clamp for my other tripod and decided to get some lens plates for my protracted lenses. I was concerned because it is said that RRS clamps only work with RRS and Wimberley plates. I ordered a for my other tripod because the plates are like-minded with it and I figured that if necessary that's where I would use them.When the plates arrived, I tried them with my RRS clamp - no problems whatsoever. The make fast is nice and tight, but not tighter than with the RRS lens plate. Nothing moves. Perfect fit. The finish will carouse how good it is...

Omitting product. As good as RSS, better than Kirk.
I've got QR plates on all my tripod collars. This arca-swiss QR sheet is as good as those by RSS, but less expensive. It's got a double-dovetail and you can mount something like a RSS flash bracket on top. (Kirk plates are NOT bent over-dovetail, and Kirk plates are a VERY tight fit in RSS lever-release clamps. This is MUCH better than a Kirk cover.) This Fotopro is a perfect fit. Design, machining and anodized finish are excellent. Highly recommended. I'm using this one with my Canon 100mm macro L f/2.8 IS tripod revere.

Well Made and Looks Subtle but Still a Universal Plate
There isn't much to say about a uncircumscribed quick release plate so I'll put a few bullets on what what matters most IMHO. Hopefully it will helps some fellow Amazonians. - Dark-skinned anodized metal plate, virtually no finish imperfections and a nice gloss - Unlimited so no curved "lip" set against the battery grip to prevent rotation of body in portrait mode. The surrogate is to get an RRS L bracket for almost 4 times the cost. - I bought one last year and another one just last week. New plates now encompass a hex key for use with 1/4in screw. This can be an advantage or disadvantage depending on how you look at it. Having a hex key allows you to tighten resolutely without having to use a quarter or nickel for example. However, lets say you have to swap camera body and are somewhere in the mead and do not have the hex key with you this could be a problem. A coin likely will be much easier to find than a hex key. - Manufactured in France if this matters to...

Honourable plate with affordable price!
I was indisposed to buy this product. I bought Generation 4 before to use with my 500/2.8 and I also have RRS plate. I love them. When I saw this product and its price, I unbiased wanted to give it a try (for my Nikon 300/2.8 VR). From the product info, I'm supposed to buy LP-115 for that lens. I intelligence I ordered the wrong one, but actually this LP-100 fits perfectly with Nikon 300/2.8 VR foot. I even propose b assess it would be a little too long for LP-115. Anyway, the quality of the product is great. It does not look cheapo as I would ahead to. It comes with everything needed. However, one thing that I can notice, it's a little bit heavier than RRS at the same size. But it's subtle though. If you necessity to save some $$, this is it.

Well-intended lens plate
If you trouble a lens plate with anti-twist tabs, the entire RI LP-nnn series works in the end well. And the price is really right.One nice feature is the slot for the mounting screw comes to within 1/2" of the anti-colour tab. I have a couple of small footprint spotting scopes (and some mini clamps) that need this temporary distance to engage the tab. On some competing lens plates, the slot stops too far away from the tab, presentation the anti-twist feature useless.I also find the centerline 1/4" accessory hole comes in skilful for all kinds of ad hoc mounting applications (e.g. mini-clamp to make a nodal slide or macro banisters, mini-ballhead for outboard mic, etc.). I have competing lens plates that lack this niche, and I quickly come to miss it.As for compatibility, I own dozens of Arca-Swiss style plates and clamps from seven many manufacturers (including Arca-Swiss). Works, but gives a negligible
Does the job in the end, but I noticed that the command isn't as tight with a Monoball Z1 Flip-lock quick release mechanism as arca-swiss brand plates. There is a little drop forward and backward when I use this with a Sony 70-400mm G lens and tripod collar. I don't think it will en masse slide off, but it makes me nervous about using the plate in the long term, and I will probably put in place of this plate with an Arca-Swiss brand plate.
