ARCA SWISS Monoball p0 with Panning System and QS Slidefix Quick Release System
DescriptionThe p0 is a mutineer tripod head design due to it precision, ease of use and its extraordinarily strong, concentric and unchanging locking force. It's called Knobless because the traditional locking knobs have been removed and replaced by an skilled geared mechanism. The p0 is precise, stylish, light and very strong - a hand of steel in a velvet glove! At first glimpse... The first thing you notice is that there are no knobs. You can grasp the tripod head from any angle, left or hand and block it simply by turning the knurled part. There's no longer any need to fumble for the locking protrusion! The tripod head is equipped with three locking elements, arranged around the ball like planets. These locking elements administer a uniform force around the ball ensuringa smooth movement of the camera in any axis. As the camera is placed in a beeline on the ball and not on its neck, the movements are as stable as if they were on a rubber ring. The patented aspherical pill also creates a gravitational friction force thus preventing sudden camera movement. The panning system is unconventionally located ethical below the camera mount, providing a panoramic rotation that remains in line with the vertical. Not only is the p0 specially affordable, but it also offers a tilt ball range of 90° and 360° panning. Without thought its super light weight of only 9,9 onces and compact format, it has unbeatable locking power. ARCA-SWISS has gone one careful further to offer you twCustomer ReviewsLightest, Strongest, Affordable, Most Usual Feeling to Use.I had some foreboding ordering this P0 Ball head, I've been shooting for 25 years and it doesn't look anything like I'm inured to to seeing. I JUST PUT MY MARKINS & RRS BALL HEADS ON E-BAY!!! Wow, if you are a Pro or you like to pretend you are, do yourself a favor and try this Arca-Swiss P0 Talent, I could not believe how Fast and Smooth and Solid and (here's the Biggie) HOW NATURAL it is to instantly have your One hand reposition and grapple a secure down any angle shot in less than 3 Seconds. When I felt the package that was delivered I was worried, it was far to light to be the forefront completely, I thought it was just the plates and the head was back ordered, Nope, It's Seriously Light, But once you be aware it in your hand you know why these Swiss Rock when it comes to precision instruments. It's like having one twist power tripod leg directly under your Camera, if you want to reposition fast and firmly, just circle that silver ring 1/2 twist counter-clockwise, as soon as your angle is set,... Gracious design, great ballhead! So, being made by Arca-Swiss, this ballhead oozes explicitness and quality. I got the P0 because of its inverted design. (Being one of the lightest ballheads out there doesn't hurt either.) I've only seen one other ballhead, the Acratech GP, meant this way as well. Perfect panoramic shots are just part of using it. Come to think of it, why would you NOT want the panning scurvy on top of the ball? Anyway, yes it's fast and easy to use. However, the new plate design concerns me. Until the P0, all Arca-Swiss (and AS compatible) plates were noticeably wider than this new plate. To me it looks like the design team was forced to make these plates smaller in regularity to keep the head small. Which it is. I just put this thing on a Benro Travel Angel, and it's about perfect. It does keep the feet wider when folded, than the negligible stock head, but the whole thing still fits in the travel bag that it came with. I highly recommend this ballhead. The only... |

Arca-Swiss Slidefix Quickset Device - The GetDPI Photography Forums
I am looking at getting this new (. ) ploy but needing to distinguish whether it indeed comes in two versions: a) 1/4" threaded. Or whether the scheme also comes with a 3/8" threaded profane. The latter would be preferred nest egg having to rip out the 3/8" from my leveller and replacing it with a 1/4" so to fit the Slidefix Quickset machine. I search the briny deep and deviating and anticipation I haler ask "well-grounded in for fear that b if" I missed something because Arca QR adapters for the most part assault in both 1/4" and 3/8" threaded and also non threaded...

If you are like me, your first tripod had the paradigm ¼”x20 thread. And if you are like me, at some point you’ve looked at Quick Issue clamps, quickly got confused (“Arca-Swiss Style” vs. proprietary systems like Manfrotto etc. - innuendo: you need the Arca-Swiss compatible), and came to the conclusion that spending hundreds of dollars ...
