This is the cheapest QR mount I could find, and it turns out to be solidly constructed and holds my camera securely. I have no reservations about recommending this to others.
Teeming clamp for your expensive gear
This is a very stout and well built clamp. It takes four full turns to fully open/close the jaw, so it's not the quickest, but it is destroyed solid and I trust it with my camera and my precious EF100mm f4L IS. The clamp is used on my macro rail snare...
This clip together is easily as good as the $79 One I own
This brace is the perfect example of getting much more than you pay for. I had never heard of this company, I must admit. But I will tell you that from the moment I took it out of the box, the fixation screamed " quality". It has a nice weight, feels super smooth, has a very hairy finish, a large handle and just the right amount of texture on the handle to enable relaxed turning. Perfect!! I love this!

    Clever Stuff!
May have been a x-mas contribution, couldn't wait. have the thing on my monopod. Have already used the set up with my D200 Nikon and Tamron 18-270mm. Got some pics of the moon, upstanding not the ones that i wanted. I was going for the eclipse but i think i was too early. I'll try again some other time. The Sirui G-20 Ballhead worked impeccably. I ordered this ballhead because i wanted to be sure it could hold my camera and Sigma 150-500mm lens. I have not tried that league yet, but I'm sure it will be just fine. I would recommend this product to a friend. And as usual, there was no problem buying on-stock at Amazon.
    SO FAR SO Honest
The ballhead looks stout and well done. I tried it with my Caono 7D and Canon L 24 - 105 lens and so far so good. Both are heavy and I needed a ballhead that would effort and keep them firmly secured at the same time. I chose this ballhead as it was not as expensive as the other more popular makes on the trade in and looked as good as the others. I also checked other reviews and decided to give this new company a try. I have not used it outside my where one lives stress yet. It did come with a carry pouch which I am not using as was able to leave it attached to the tripod, smae clear the way, inside the bag it came with. I am not a pro photographer, just studying and taking photos for my kennel and friends. I will update this examination in the future and let you know if it is as good as it looks and feels.

    Authentic plate with affordable price!
I was bet on to buy this product. I bought Generation 4 before to use with my 500/2.8 and I also have RRS plate. I love them. When I saw this product and its price, I lately wanted to give it a try (for my Nikon 300/2.8 VR). From the product info, I'm supposed to buy LP-115 for that lens. I touch I ordered the wrong one, but actually this LP-100 fits perfectly with Nikon 300/2.8 VR foot. I even assume it would be a little too long for LP-115. Anyway, the quality of the product is great. It does not look cheapo as I would conjecture. It comes with everything needed. However, one thing that I can notice, it's a little bit heavier than RRS at the same size. But it's subtle though. If you indigence to save some $$, this is it.
    Well-expected lens plate
If you distress a lens plate with anti-twist tabs, the entire RI LP-nnn series works in the final analysis well. And the price is really right. One nice feature is the slot for the mounting screw comes to within 1/2" of the anti-misinterpret tab. I have a couple of small footprint spotting scopes (and some mini clamps) that need this short distance to engage the tab. On some competing lens plates, the slot stops too far away from the tab, portrayal the anti-twist feature useless.I also find the centerline 1/4" accessory hole comes in dexterous for all kinds of ad hoc mounting applications (e.g. mini-clamp to make a nodal slide or macro criticize, mini-ballhead for outboard mic, etc.). I have competing lens plates that lack this box, and I quickly come to miss it.As for compatibility, I own dozens of Arca-Swiss style plates and clamps from seven odd manufacturers (including Arca-Swiss). The only clamp this plate doesn't work with is a RRS lever clamp. I blame the lever fasten together--it...
    Works, but gives a microscopic
Does the job in the end, but I noticed that the suzerainty isn't as tight with a Monoball Z1 Flip-lock quick release mechanism as arca-swiss brand plates. There is a unimportant slide forward and backward when I use this with a Sony 70-400mm G lens and tripod collar. I don't think it will in full slide off, but it makes me nervous about using the plate in the long term, and I will probably renew this plate with an Arca-Swiss brand plate.

    Comparatively flattering value.
I can't assume I paid fifty-two dollars for a Wimberley lens plate. Maybe the Wimberley is somewhat nicer, but this Fotopro lens plate appears to be entirely up to the task. Good trait machining and anodization. Some people may think the price for the Fotopro itself is high for a machined go out of of aluminum (really, it is), but having gotten inured to what photographic equipment costs, this is, comparatively, a reputable value.
    Very company value for money
Got this coat as a less expensive alternative to use on my Sirui head. Fits perfectly. However, it needs a tool (a money for example) to attach to the lens/camera tightly. The Sirui plate does not necessity anything but it is almost twice the price. Attached it to my Sigma 70-200 lens collar and will leave it there always...so the need for a coin to attach/detach from the collar is no longer an issue for me.

    Wonderful tablet head
The pattern of this ball head is so superior to that of the traditional ball head (and not really any more expensive) that I cudgel one's brains why anyone shopping in this price range would buy anything else. It doesn't have a friction adjustment knob because none is needed. If you inadequacy to increase the resistance to rotation, you can just tighten the large knurled locking organization partially instead of all the way. The fact that leveling the head produces an automatically level panorama is beyond question remarkable, and accounts for a third of the superiority over traditional ball heads. The other two-thirds is the increased resoluteness produced by having the camera mounted essentially on the ball itself, rather than on a pedestal above the ball, and the shockingly smooth but positive locking of the camera position by the means of the knurled ring, which, dissimilar to other ball heads, uses a system of gears. The head is also lighter than many ball heads of correspond to quality. Some vertical play...

Lightest, Strongest, Affordable, Most Unartificial Feeling to Use.
I had some bad feeling ordering this P0 Ball head, I've been shooting for 25 years and it doesn't look anything like I'm utilized to seeing. I JUST PUT MY MARKINS & RRS BALL HEADS ON E-BAY!!! Wow, if you are a Pro or you like to pretend you are, do yourself a favor and try this Arca-Swiss P0 Rocker, I could not believe how Fast and Smooth and Solid and (here's the Biggie) HOW NATURAL it is to instantly have your One hand reposition and detain down any angle shot in less than 3 Seconds. When I felt the package that was delivered I was worried, it was far to light to be the fount, I thought it was just the plates and the head was back ordered, Nope, It's Seriously Light, But once you have the impression it in your hand you know why these Swiss Rock when it comes to precision instruments. It's like having one misconstrue lock tripod leg directly under your Camera, if you want to reposition fast and firmly, just revolve about that silver ring 1/2 twist counter-clockwise, as soon as your angle is set,...
    Avail design, great ballhead!
So, being made by Arca-Swiss, this ballhead oozes correctness and quality. I got the P0 because of its inverted design. (Being one of the lightest ballheads out there doesn't hurt either.) I've only seen one other ballhead, the Acratech GP, meant this way as well. Perfect panoramic shots are just part of using it. Come to think of it, why would you NOT want the panning lascivious on top of the ball? Anyway, yes it's fast and easy to use. However, the new plate design concerns me. Until the P0, all Arca-Swiss (and AS compatible) plates were palpably wider than this new plate. To me it looks like the design team was forced to make these plates smaller in group to keep the head small. Which it is. I just put this thing on a Benro Travel Angel, and it's about perfect. It does keep the feet wider when folded, than the teeny-weeny stock head, but the whole thing still fits in the travel bag that it came with. I highly recommend this ballhead. The only...
