    Canon HDV
The XL H1 is a incomparable camera, used with outstanding results by videographers around the world. If you have the budget and need the dab hand features not found on the XH A1, this camera is a great choice.Just in response to the review below, this camcorder records orthodox HDV 60i, the identical format to that found on any Sony, JVC, or Panasonic camcorder. This footage can be played on any camera or deck supporting HDV.The reviewer refers to 24F and 30F, which are Other formats Canon has developed for their XL and XH series camcorders. 24F in particular is an amazing aspect, allowing Canon to provide a true 24p framerate at a fraction of the cost of other codecs. If you wanted to use the 24F or 30F formats, and needed to develop on more than one camera, the other camera could shoot on conventional 24p and be edited in the same timeline within Final Cut. But you may as well stick with Canon, as I do and as does Patrick Moreau of Still...
A In fact Remarkable Camera !!!
Canon has done it again with another duly remarkable camera. The XLH1 and XLH1a are by far the best camera's in this price range.Actually this camera is beat than most that cost 3 or 4 times as much.Great picture quality, very nicely laid out controls, stable auto focus, very clever image stabilizer and a enormous amount of flexibility.I have been a Canon fan and narcotic addict for 20 years and have never been disappointed. The Canon XLH1 is a work of art and a thing of beauty.Sure this camera is not for the trainee because it can be quite complex to get set up to perform the way you want it to but once you do go through the tedious tasks of adjusting it to your own tastes then you have the most wonderful video camera principled at your finger tips to do what ever you want it to do.You can set the camera to auto everything and get pretty good HD video but I advocate you learn how to adjust it to do more of what it was made to do and that is...
    Not like-minded with standard HDV
Laudatory camera, no doubt about it. BUT you may consider that if you shoot in 24F or 30F mode, the tapes can only be played back in the camera itself. 24F and 30F modes record-breaking the signal in a Canon's proprietary way, and cannot be red in ANY deck or camera available in the market today. You can not hurl and deliver the tapes to any editing facility.I couldn't believe this, until I called to Canon polytechnic support center, and the technician confirmed that to me.

    Customer Reviews

A bit steep, but a great camera overall.
The might reasons I purchased this camera were its size and its resolution. The camera is small enough to fit in my coat take, which means that I have it with me when I need it, and its 3MP resolution means that I can leave my digital camera at home. In episode, this camera has an F1.8 lens, which is as fast as you'll find on most full-size cameras, so it takes decent pictures indoors even without using the glare. While I've been delighted with the size and still camera capabilities, there are a few other features that I think are great as well. The first is the option to use 16:9 video plan if you want. I have a HDTV, and video shot in normal 4:3 format doesn't fill the home screen unless it's stretched sideways, making everyone look fat. The 16:9 option of the DCR-PC350 allows you to germinate video that fills the screen like a real movie. You'll probably appreciate this even more in a few years when most TVs are widescreen.A aide-de-camp useful, though not well...
    Best camcorder albeit mediocre stills
I bought this note a couple of days ago in Hongkong (its already released here) and have had the chance to play around with it. I got this in HK for around US 1190 together with a tripod, 5 DV cassettes and a camcorder bag (inspiriting going on). The video quality is outstanding. The base is a boon as u can attach the S video, firewire or USB cables to it and then absolutely place the camcorder into the base to charge or transfer the files to the PC. I would like to say that be careful regarding the LCD. In cheerfully lit rooms (like showrooms where I bought mine), if the LCD has any dead pixels (whichs shows up as a bright dot)you will not be expert to see them. So do cover the LCD with your hands, cover the lens with the shutter cap and then carefully check the LCD for dead pixels. (You should take out this check after the Camcorder has been on for a minute or so to allow the dead pixels to show up). The lens is perfect and you have the option of buying attachments for more creativity. All...
    What a huge little camera
I have had this camera for about 2 months now and at bottom have had no problems with it. I love the size. It is small enough to fit in my jacket pocket while skiing. Takes dreadful pictures movies, even during extremely bright conditions while skiing. I have used this camera indoors as well and find it to do a gargantuan job. I love being able to film in widescreen mode and play movies back on the widescreen tv. The pictures are hellishly clear. My only problem is with the whole docking station / charging the battery issue. I would suggest buying an more battery charger / ac cable or a travel charger so as not to have to unhook all of your cables from your computer every time you excursion. Overall, I am very happy witht his camera and would definately buy another one if the need arose.

DSC-T500 Is The Camera I've Been Waiting For!
I've seen this imminent. The technology has been advancing so quickly that it was only the waiting that's been tough. I bought this camera right in a different place and am VERY pleased with it. I just don't know where to start. This is both an excellent stand alone still camera with 10.1 MP, which provides enough minutiae for 19 by 13" prints. To my experienced eyes, the images are in a word superb. It is also a minuscule HD camcorder with 720P and stereo sound! It's not quite as good as a stand alone HD camcorder but with the ease of flicking a lash into the movie mode as well as the size of the camera, it is nothing short of astonishing. I easily loaded both images as well as video clips into Windows Film Maker and edited between the two and burned a DVD with excellent results. It certainly doesn't require it, but if you have a swiftly panel with an HDMI input, this camera really shines. All the settings (except for power, change between image and movie and telephoto)...
Irrevocably a camera worth upgrading for!
I have been comfortable with my Sony T7 until it died on me just recently. Every camera after the T7 just got bigger and bigger without adding any estimable features.I had a very difficult time deciding whether or not to go T77, or T700, or T500. In the end, I picked this one since I would always hope for the HD video feature and could live with the larger size. What prevents this from getting 5 stars are the following:- The camera is big and not literally pocketable- No Bionz processor (both the T77 and T700 have this, and it seems odd the flagship camera does NOT). I'm curious as to how much this helps.- No beam shutter tech (annoying since this is also present in the T77 and T700)- Low res LCD - only 230k pixels versus 921k on the T700. why??- No built in 4GB homage - there's def enough room for one. why include on the T700 and not this one?- Interface is not that great, but I presume it's the same on the other two Sony cameras.-...
Sony T500 - I notion of this one is a keeper!
I've tried by a hair's breadth about EVERY point and shoot that takes HD Video, plus countless other digital cameras over the years. The HD P&S's I've tried are: Canon TX1, Panasonic TX5, several scintillate drive camcorders that also take still pic's, Sanyo HD1000 & HD700, Samsung HV24HD, and ALL the Kodak's that take HD Video. By the way - it's a tolerable thing that the places I buy these cameras from have a good return policy or I would have been in big trouble. My wife thinks I'm obsessed; she's accurately! Unfortunately, all of the above cameras had some serious issues - suffice it to say, not acceptable! My criterion is pretty simple, but not agreeable to find. All I really just want is a small point and shoot that takes decent not on target screen (16:9) pictures and HD 720 or 1080 videos. Nothing pro - I'm reasonable - the pic'/vid's need to look satisfactory, clear, not make me sea sick to watch on my HDTV, stay in focus, sound trait OK, able to zoom during video (and the sound not cut out - i.e. Samsung), and...

Skeptic Gives Lofty Rating to this phone
I am picky and skeptical, and don't generally speaking give reviews. Especially with so many phones out there, while they may be good, there's always something.I've had this Xperia PLAY for a couple of months now, and it's imposing. I had read the screen was too dark when gaming, but it's not true. So far, no freezes or delays and everything is really trusting to find. If there was one thing that could be improved would be the weight: Having the gaming pad adds extra weight, but it's not a titanic burden. This is a great entertainment piece(Gaming/Videos/internet), with solid edifice, and has all the advantages of a great tool if you are a walking office: Integrates calendar with google, gmail, and can do Brief conversation, Excel, PDF, office mail, webmail, flash, Etc). Sweet deal. And best of all It Works Excessive!
    At&t sucks with robot update
Hi, the cellphone its ok for the payment, the only thing that piss me off is the android update, it comes with android 2.3.3 and like 1 year ago sony present the android 2.3.4 update for their phones, at&t only say that they are testing the update, the worst thing is that 3 weeks ago google freeing andorid ICS(4.0) and sony sayd that in march they will release the update for all 2011 phones, so i evaluate that at&t will do tha same that is doing with 2.3.4 and this phone will have ICS problably in 2013 so buy another phone with ICS on it or buy the verizon play that already have the update.
    this phone sucks
So far, out of the three months I have had this phone, only for about a week did it in truth open webpages as fast as an iphone 3g, which is nowhere near as fast as n iphone 3gs, much less 4/4s.Keep in attitude this is a PlayStation phone, and it does not support playstation games. There are many problems with this phone, one of which is the unhurried speed, another being game incompatibility, aside from emulators, which offer another array of issues, and lastly, weird input reception. The phone has potential, but in this case, the android OS hinders, yes HINDERS it.By that i imply the phone is great for making/receiving calls, if you don't mind it blasting your ear off when it goes into spieler mode right on your ear, and for occasional texting, since the keyboard types whatever the heck it wants every now and then, eve with extract correction/spell checker completly disabled. On the issue of gaming, the processor is well above an ingenious...

    Phone has issues
Concede with the earlier reviewer in that this phone has software problems. My phone would randomly lock up and I could only reset it by removing the mobile. Then the phone would randomly display a message that said something along the lines of "Phone has experienced a system weakness and it restarting." I took the phone back for a replacement and the second phone is doing the same quirk. I went back and the Sprint Store stated it is a known software problem and a fix "should be out soon." I have not been clever to identify if there is anything in particular that causes the phone to lock up, but all I use it for is voice calls...no texting or internet, so at this emphasize the phone fails for its basic purpose. That said, once a fix is hopefully issued, the phone should fill my requirements. It is a decent looking, rugged phone that has the features I need.
Not a chic phone but very reliable phone built tough.
If you have lots of friends texting you and your popsy friend is constantly texting this is not the phone for you get a smart phone, it's pretty hard to abstract fast on these phone and search the web. Being that said, I was not looking for a smart phone I was looking for a sturdy phone that could take a beating and be very reliable and that's what I got. I have had it for 5 months now, you only have to charge once a week it holds it charge for ever I am a perpetuation worker and I am alway's bumping against stuff laying ontop of my phone when fixing flapdoodle, these phone takes a beating and it doesn't brake. Once I lost it and it was raining very hard and the phone didn't get check compensation it's water resistant. The reciption is very good, takes nice pictures haven't had to take the battery-operated off like the other people in the reviews say. The best thing like I said, the phone won't be dieing on you because the debt almost last two weeks and that is a be plus in case of a emergency.
I would not persuade this phone
I bought this phone because it seemed like a tolerable deal and I need a rugged phone. It is a nice looking phone and the menues and features seemed utterly easy to learn. That being said, when I was connecting the phone to Sprint I was having problems getting it to secure. I contacted Sprint both online and by phone and worked with them for over an hour trying to get it set up, even they were having heckler getting it done. It turned out I was glad that happened because during this process I discovered I was having a very hard even so hearing the operator over this phone and when I turned the volume up to max the voices were "Blurby" and distorted, I could not arrange what they were saying at all. I returned it because it didn't work for me.

    HTC Radar review

From the front, its birthright as a successor to the Trophy is quite apparent, although it has noticeably cleaner words, primarily thanks to bezels and buttons that are longer and thinner. From there, the Radar makes a expressive departure from its forebear with an aluminum unibody chassis that envelopes the manhood of the phone. The noteworthy exception here is a removable cover at the bottom, which provides entrance to the SIM card slot alone.

In all likelihood a hot pixel. Not too uncommon. But the ZR85 had some CCD issues. This caused distorted video, and could be the cause of the problem. To get this stable, contact Canon. They will replace the defective part at no charge. Here's full info:
