Specifications
Customer ReviewsConservatism Lavalier mic with better than average performance. Good value for price. This mic was purchased for use with a Canon HV-20 camcorder. Superior purpose is for videotaping interviews with people who are sitting (not moving around). It comes with a 20' mooring, which is more than enough for use in any room in the average size home.Build quality: better than I expected for the assess, the battery and pre-amp holder feel more like aluminum than plastic (it's hard to tell under the ebon paint). The mic element itself is tiny, and comes with a lapel clip and foam wind screen. The close down screen, like the mic element itself, is tiny and pretty easy to pull off, so keep an eye on it that it doesn't become hopeless. The battery is one of the "button" types, rather than a "AA" (which I would have preferred). One battery is supplied - I have no idea of how long it might last, so wagerer have a spare. The mike is a condenser type, so it will not work at all if the battery is dead.Performance: Very actual! The sound quality is better than I had expected for the... Astounding Lucidity This was the first mic I bought to go along with my Sony VX2100 Minidv camcorder! The 20' string was what attracted me first, and then the price, but when I played back some footage I was blown away with the professional sound that it produces! The je sais quoi to my ears seems equal to any interview I hear on television! It's that good!I wear or place this about mid coffer level and that seems about right, but it will pick up nicely even if placed further away. Its by far better than any camcorder mic! The 20' line is great when your subject or yourself needs to move around to demonstrate something. Or to be stationary in a long shot! I try intimate above, if your obedient to is sitting 5' to 6' from the camera lense in an interview position, this powerful midget mic works equally as well. 1' or 20' makes no difference!Bottom line; when I'm recording indoors I never use the on-gaming-table mic, I always reach for this and plug it in!And to add... Qualified Quality at a fraction of the cost!! I've been a whiz television reporter/producer for four years, and I was astounded by the sound quality of this mic.I bought it for a explode to Ethiopia to use with my personal camcorder, a 3CCD Panasonic. I was going for work, with a crew, but I wanted to shoot some travelling videos of my own. On my last trip to South Africa I did the same, but the camera mic sounded lousy, especially compared to the pro-audio I was getting with the stories themselves. That entirely changed with this trip. The sound quality I have on my travel video standups with this $26 microphone is about 95% the standing I get from our professional gear. That runs $300 for a mic, $300 for the wireless transmitter, and $300 for the recipient. So $26 compared to $900+ is a fantastic deal. The 20 feet of mic wire does get a bit tangled from tempo to time if you're using the mic on the run. But for the quality sound you get back from it, hassling with the wire is very much worth your...

Works great for train meetings when the room is filled with people, a bunch more have dialed in, and the speaker is wandering around the accommodation. We had an initial problem where the receiver indicated it was receiving a signal from the wireless mic, but the microphone seemed not to be picking up any good.It turned out to be a menu setting on the SoundStation 2 that needed to be changed: Go into the menu, select "Settings" > "Aux Audio" and add up to sure it's set to "Wireless Mic" then press "Save".

If you buy from another entourage do not expect to receive our product.Customer ReviewsOccupation WELL BUT ---------I am baffling as the UpRight description states Clip-On Microphone & Camcorder Set. I'm not certain what camcorder it may be used on but the male jacks on the receivers are the measurements of Electric Guitar Jacks. There is no way these jacks will fit the Female Mic Jack on a regular camcorder. The jacks are inhuman to see in the pic so one can be confused as I was. I do utilize them for PA system and they work fine. NOTE: The antenn wire on the receivers are looped and tied with a Wrench-Ty. DO NOT REMOVE THE TIE AND UNCOIL THE LOOPS. The instructions say this also. I tried it just for the heck of it and it was a no go.Besides the size of the masculine jacks and not being able to use it on a camcorder the unit is worth the price. Clarity is good and so is distance. Expense too much for Italin people The outcome is interesting.Work well. But to have this in Rome-Italy, I spent in euro60.29 items+shiping13.56 italian customs approval 5.50 italian postal taxes-------79.35 totalequovalente 104,33 $byeviky

What's in the Box Customer ReviewsKinship of on board microphone vs. ATR3350 microphone on Canon HF200Buyer Video Review Length:: 5:05 MinsI test the microphone on a Canon HF200 camcorder at the ground with both Ocean and Creek noise in the background. The difference is quite remarkable. Don't turn your speakers up too ostentatious, as the volume changes quite a bit when I go from on board to lavalier microphone. Note that I had to actually LOWER the supply during edit because the Audio Technica mic would have clipped, otherwise.During video editing I made the following adjustments:Judicious track +4db (to compensate for excessively quiet on board microphone)Just the ATR3350 segment -3.4db (to pay for the Audio Technica microphone being so loud)Final analysis: If I was using JUST the lavalier microphone, no adjustments... Loyal lapel mic for the price The Audio Technica ATR-3350 Lavalier Omnidirectional Condenser Microphone appears to be a around identical replacement lavalier mic from the recently discontinued Audio-Technica ATR-35S Lavalier Microphone.Reading some blog suggestion about video podcasting and playing around a bit with making YouTube videos, "sound" in video is by the part that makes video quality bad. So I was looking for a reasonably price lapel mic to use. The ATR-3350 is quite reasonable considering that you can easily spend $200 for a professional model lapel mic.If you read some of the "1" (detestation it) reviews from the ATR-35S, they pretty much all related to "low volume issues". You may see some similar reviews here as time goes on. Plugging the ATR-3350 instantly into my Dell laptop PC mic in or camera mic in, I also thought the volume is not high enough. However, plugging it into my video camera, it sounded colossal. Just the right volume. Not too loud or soft.I went to the... For the Assess, You Get What You Pay For The Audio-Technica ATR-35S lavaliere microphone is a higher than average eminence microphone. The benefits of the microphone are that the small microphone can clip onto a shirt, or tie with the provided clip. The battery compartment and on/off direct has an additional clip on it to attach to your belt, or pant waist. The overall sound distinction for the microphone is astounding considering the price, averaging at about $25, often times less. The material used to raise the microphone feels sturdy, and that it will last. Overall I'm extremely happy with the quality of the sound, and the microphone itself. The 20 foot string helps when you are walking around a room, with the recorder set on a table. Granted, just be sure not to esplanade too far, as to not pull the recorder off the table. However, I do have a few minor complaints. When I use this microphone with my voice recorder, I always feed the microphone through my shirt, and have my recorder in my palm. When...

Most of my clients choose to add on a sound system option I offer, and many have requested a wireless lapel mic for their officiant to use. I have been on the chase for a good lapel mic for several months and had to return the first I bought (the Hisonic lapel mic) because it's sound quality was terrible and it did not pick up a make known unless it was less than an inch away from the mic (so much for being on the lapel!) Because of that experience, I was nervous about buying this one, but am delighted to say that the Decent Clip-On Lapel microphone is absolutely terrific!! It picks up the voice with no problem, even from a foot to a different place - and it's loud! The sound quality is clear. I am so happy to have found this mircophone! And what an amazing deal, no less, for such a commodities product! wireless portion on mic The mic worked ok , i had no problems with it . The box for the transmitter is a bit cheapy and it doesn't hold alkaline batteries very well . For the price i was satisfied with what i got , but it's not any leading end equiptment that gives you the perfect sound. O.K, when it works This is an uncertain unit. I bought it for interview work, but I noticed that the audio cut in and out. When the Receiver looses treatment, (which it did sometimes within 10 ft.), it would not pick up the signal again, thus losing all audio. If you are on a budget, and are in a controlled environs (with headphones) the audio is pretty good, but just make sure you are able to twig b take hold it.
Olympus ME-52W Noise Canceling Microphone
Details
DescriptionBawling cancelling microphone for use with Olympus digital voice recorders. Comes with 3.5mm monaural off, tiepin clip, and extension cord.Customer ReviewsAn leftover compact microphoneMy first counterbalance to this microphone was astonishment at is its small size. It's larger than most lapel microphones, but that's because of the physical requirements for noise-elimination. Still, it's very small, especially for a true "cardioid" (noise-cancelling) microphone. The performance is superb! As Jim wrote, it is very sore. I tested it in a quiet room at distances up to 10 feet away. At about 3 feet, my vent to was strong and clear. At 10 feet, it was obviously remote, but the sound was good and very unsophisticated, with no echo. Off-axis, the sensitivity drops rapidly. At about 70 degrees, the sound weakens noticeably, and beyond 90 degrees, it is almost unheard.M. L. Strickland is correct in warning that the microphone requires external power. The instructions on the box specify 1.5 - 10 volts. Writers who reported that the microphone was very almost inaudible were almost certainly using a recorder that does not provide the necessary excitation voltage... Does by the skin of one's teeth what you want For a cheapo microphone, I was pleasantly surpised with how well this worked at picking up speakers who were a detach away. You may have to adjust the sensitivity of the recorder, because the sensitivity of this mic is significantly higher than the built-in stereo mic, and recording to 'hot' will sequel in garbled, distorted sound. The Olympus recorders seem to select sensitivity with labels like 'edict' and 'conference', where 'conference' would normally be used in a distant recording situation but if the record bar hits the upper side of the screen you want to set it to the lower sensitivity mode 'dictate'. In any case, with this (mono) mic you should transformation your recording mode to Mono so you can get double the record time. benign in a noisy setting I did an vetting in a noisy restaurant and put the recorder on the table with the mic pointed straight up. The mic picked up both voices very well and cut down the unseen noise by at least 70%. The interview would have been impossible otherwise. |
