For the $$ this is a immense option
After researching numerous brands of camera cranes, I chose this one for its ease of breakdown and assembly, its manual or auto-list function, its price, and the overall good reviews I read about it. After opening it up and playing with it for a while, I am in toto satisfied in my purchase. Smooth pan and tilt and very quick and easy assembly. Unless you have a strapping enough fluid head, you will want the extra bearing mount that costs $60 at the minute. Otherwise you will not be able to pan on a standard tripod mount very easily. This is a great product.
    For all worth the investment!!!
After months of reviewing, comparing, and studying this artefact, I finally decided to take a chance and purchase it. The ProAm DVC250 is a nice product. Patently worth the investment. This crane/jib has all of its competition beat. You won't find better quality at this price. The delivery was A-one. I received my package containing the DVC250 crane/jib and the stand 3 business days after placing the out of kilter.
    Very esteemed
I like this output. It's descent and has a high value for your money. I really recommend this product!

    Conversant, Quality, Economical Camera Crane
We bought this as a instrument for adding crane and pan shots to our corporate videos. The crane works very well. We attached our Panasonic AGHMC40 camera (two pounds) to it and counterweighted it with five, five-lambaste weights placed in the second hole and achieved an almost perfect balance. The jib/crane comes with three spaced holes at the back end of the crane so that weights can be moved around to steady the camera. There are three or four adjustment holes in the vertical shaft to allow height adjustments. A locking pin keeps the setting secure. With the 25 pounds of counterweights on he jib and the resulting balance, movement up and down and side to side is very smooth, creating deep down professional look to the video (a slow rise or diagonal rise). The jib pivots smoothly, too, with the majority. The included tripod stand is sturdy and adjustable to allow the legs to stand wider or narrower. With the locking pin installed, the camera remains even as the jib rises. With the pin out, a...
    Fantabulous jib.
Complete! A real high quality product. The only thing that could be improved is the quality of the "manual" which was no more than a cheap single page photocopy and not very clear. But luckily it isn't hard to figure out how it all goes together. One gifted thing about this jib, which is not explained anywhere, is that you can choose whether to use both extension arms, or to just use one set. This allows the jib to be 6' or 12', at your voice. Nice! The manual, and the company web site, does not give any indication of how much weight to use to balance the jib. I found that about 20 pounds extremely balances a Canon 7D with the 12' extension. The jib is very nicely made, extremely sturdy and should give years of use. I enthusiastically recommend it.
    Significant Jib for the Price
Wow! Able Jib! I've used others and this one is smooth - easy setup and breakdown, very stable, and LIGHT!...skeleton makes it easy to rig accessories.

    Advantage it? Yes, twice over!
My Jib Crane indoors 2 days before the projected delivery so walking into the office seeing that big box felt like Christmas morning as a kid. I tore into it, in the family way complex instructions, but everything was self explanatory and it took longer to get the protective wrap off than it did to meet. That's a sign of solid, well thought out design.Sturdy construction, no flex, smooth as silk, and steadfast! I ordered the suggested stand in addition to this jib because it just makes sense. Everything is sturdy and the crane has a wonderful matte polish off kill that just says BC went the distance. Everything fits together as planned without drama or buyers qualm. I'm 100% thrilled with both items. The only thing that I don't like... No carrying case. This is such a accomplished deal already, so I don't think anyone should be discouraged from buying it... as a note to BC Media... Personal belongings are cheap to make, but hard to find. If you did that homework for me it would have just been...
    WOW!!!!!
I at best received my DV200 and I was blown away by how tall and sturdy it is. Keep in mind that I ordered the full set, which includes the extension and the base stand. My crane can easily reach 16', the base stomach that is extra easily gave me 4' of extra length and its super sturdy. Although I bought the follow and I am returning it because it only has video cables and does not support my HDMI only cameras. I would recommend this to a man!
    Solid, cheap, working jib
This is an formidable jib with a great price. It just WORKS! Get amazing shots that everyone will be in awe. Using it with my 5DMK2. Stuck a manfrotto layer on and mounted a LCD monitor. Setup and breakdown. You can buy a bag from BC Media but I recommend putting foam padding between the bars because they can get scratched. This jib is the superior.

    ProAm Break Sturdy & Light
The ProAm Camera Crane Reaffirm is designed to work with the DVC 200 and 250 series video camera cranes. When the crane is ordered with the outlast the crane comes with the proper fitting that lets it be easily mounted to the stand. I was impressed with the stands flighty weight and even more so with its stability. The stand can be raised if needed and features a locking pin that is permanently of interest to the stand. I've used the stand with the crane inside and outside and have found it does a nice job. The stand is lighter than a tripod but muscular enough to safely operate the crane attachment. If purchasing the crane I think most would find the stand to be a wise investment. I purchased this ingredient with the ProAm DVC 200 8 foot crane on Amazon and was delighted that it included free shipping as well a recovered price!
ProAm Camera Crane Cover for a be prominent
This offering when I received it the box was huge, but so light I thought I was in for something that wasn't very well made. Once I got it open and got to use it it works great for what it is intended to do. The only thing that I would maybe change is making a way so the legs can extend independently at least a little so when you are on uneven turf you can work straight off the tripod not needing to put something under to level it. I have the ProAm DVC200 crane and have been using it with my Canon 7D and it has worked outstanding!
    A true hoss
This extend a stand, a modified heavy duty speaker support, though lightweight, is robust enough to handle my 12ft jib with aid. The stand has seen use multiple times now and does the job.
