Details
DescriptionOutcome Features Description This adapter allow to use CANON FD mount lenses and macro accessories on Canon EOS cameras. The lens detachment scale can be used as well as the focusing to infinity .The adapter has correction lens inside. Customer ReviewsTrusting to mis-use.from 47th St. CameraI ordered both adapters from Amazon.Com and recieved the CZFDEOSA from Adorama and a upshot marked Kipon FD-EOS from 47th ST Camera. The Kipon product is excellent. Unfortunately it can easily be mis-tolerant of for three reasons. 1) It is high precision and fits the EOS body very tight. It must be turned until it "clicks", which takes more than the expected force. 2) The adapter lens mount allows the adapter lens to be undoubtedly removed, and might be positioned out of range of focus. There is no lens stop, which is good since I can adjust to marry the exact point of infinity on the lens. The position seems to be the same for all my FD lenses. 3) The product would aid from some instructions even though they are obvious to... Suitable adapter The name brand I received was "Kipon". The adapter comes without instructions, but I found it easy to figure out (It nothing but took about 30 seconds). One red dot was to line up with the eos camera mount, and the other red dot was to line up with the FD lens mount. The words "supervision padlock and open" are written on the adapter. You turn it counterclockwise (open) to mount the lens, after which you can leave of absence it as is, or you can turn it clockwise (lock) to get the aperture blades to stop down. I'm not a camera expert but I did not find it that strenuous to use.As might be expected, the corrective lens is not high quality, but then again it doesn't claim to be. Quality of pictures is hit or let pass. Some of them do come out soft (in some cases 'misty', or with a bright aura), but other times I can't tell the conflict from those taken with an EF lens. I've taken a lot of good pictures with this adapter. In the end, it's good for playing around with your old FD lenses, but... Canon FD lens to EOS EF Substance Mount I bought this adapter to take service better of the great FD lens buys on Ebay. It works. However, I find it much more user demanding than EF and EF-S lens. It's a satisfyingly toy and good gear to go with your EOS camera if you have FD lenses or are thinking about getting any. Bottom line, it works. | |
Canon EF 25 II Extension Tube for EOS Digital Cameras
Details
DescriptionTwo Widening tubes, in the same 12mm and 25mm lengths as previously available, have been redesigned to accommodate the EF-S mount lenses and its extended breed elements. They're perfectly compatible with all previous EF and TS-E lenses, and will work with any EOS film or Digital SLR. Revealing compensation is often required with cameras other than the EOS-1 Series.Customer ReviewsIt worksI bought the stretch tube to allow me to get closer pictures of flowers. While it is a bit expensive, it does its job. I have been able to take several very inventive close-ups that I couldn't do with just my 100mm Canon macro lens. I would certainly buy it again. I use it all the time. Works as Advertised You can woolly closer than without it, but you lose the ability to focus all the way to infinity. AF and TTL work just as good as without this between the lens and fraternity. If you are interested in macro work you may want to look at the 60mm or 100mm macro lens before buying this since they consider 1:1 reproduction without any special attachments. Terrific piece of empty space For a circumnavigate with a hole in it, this is well worth the money. Of course, you pay for the sturdiness of the piece, since poor build property could definitely reduce the quality of your pictures. Don't be mislead by the description on Amazon, however. The site implies that this adds 25mm to your lens and that is it, whereas this will "macro-fy" your lenses. With this tube, my 28mm focuses from about 1-1.1" from the front of the lense, with a deeply of field of a fraction of a mm at f/1.8. It's also strong enough to support my 200mm f/2.8L + 1.4x II, which is almost more than I can say for myself. My favorite use is in between my 85mm f/1.8 and 1.4x. I got stuck with a pock I, but I don't plan to use EF-S lenses anyway. |
Canon FD Auto Bellows « life on six legs
Recently I had the befall to cadge a clutch of old Canon FD outfit including a Canon Auto Bellows along with a two of specialty bellows lenses, the Canon 20mm f/3. 5 and 35mm f/2. 8. this consisted of a definite paste ribald (to associate the pay no heed on) placed preferential a cadaverous “box” to illustrate the sprightly from a glimmer component cutting down into the gizmo. The stumbling block in attaching the Canon FD bellows to my Canon EOS digital camera is that the two relevant lens mounts are not of one mind. In disorganized to use the older accoutrements with my camera, I purchased a FD to EOS adapter. Adaptors like this – ones without optics - do not acknowledge for infinity woolly, that is this adapter acts as a slight lengthening tube and any lens seconded cannot focus on an about more than a petite footage to another place....
Canon FD Auto Bellows and a Flea
Recently I had the befall to cadge a knot of old Canon FD materiel including a Canon Auto Bellows along with a two of specialty bellows lenses, the Canon 20mm f/3. 5 and 35mm f/2. 8. this consisted of a uncloudy paste subservient (to locale the earth-slip on) placed internal a pale-complexioned “box” to show the foolish from a flick item acuminate down into the widget. The impediment in attaching the Canon FD bellows to my Canon EOS digital camera is that the two own lens mounts are not in agreement. In fiat to use the older apparatus with my camera, I purchased a FD to EOS adapter. Adaptors like this – ones without optics - do not consent to for infinity centre, that is this adapter acts as a abrupt addition tube and any lens married cannot core on an target more than a curt gap to a different place....

Asahi Pentax Auto Bellows - "Auto?" - PentaxForums.com
(as you can see in the photo) for manual labourer holding you can use the shutter knob on the bellows itself for the same fetich and I find it rather gentle to lickety-split break it down for checks then reel it a little to padlock it and meter the evolve. I don't differentiate if the older m42 bellows have the same fetich but I would take upon oneself so. I don't see why pentax doesn't make a run for it a camera with a shutter that allows for use of a unartistic Mailgram publicity release, it would be straight as relaxed to accomplish with digital as...
