Canon EF 25 II Extension Tube for EOS Digital Cameras
Details
DescriptionTwo Extension tubes, in the same 12mm and 25mm lengths as yesterday available, have been redesigned to accommodate the EF-S mount lenses and its extended rear elements. They're impeccably compatible with all previous EF and TS-E lenses, and will work with any EOS film or Digital SLR. Exposure compensation is often required with cameras other than the EOS-1 Series.Customer ReviewsIt worksI bought the extension tube to take into account me to get closer pictures of flowers. While it is a bit expensive, it does its job. I have been able to take several very creative close-ups that I couldn't do with only my 100mm Canon macro lens. I would certainly buy it again. I use it all the time. Works as Advertised You can bring into focus closer than without it, but you lose the ability to focus all the way to infinity. AF and TTL work just as good as without this between the lens and cadaver. If you are interested in macro work you may want to look at the 60mm or 100mm macro lens before buying this since they add 1:1 reproduction without any special attachments. Leave out piece of empty space For a circle with a hole in the wall in it, this is well worth the money. Of course, you pay for the sturdiness of the piece, since poor build quality could assuredly reduce the quality of your pictures. Don't be mislead by the description on Amazon, however. The site implies that this adds 25mm to your lens and that is it, whereas this will "macro-fy" your lenses. With this tube, my 28mm focuses from about 1-1.1" from the front of the lense, with a intuition of field of a fraction of a mm at f/1.8. It's also strong enough to support my 200mm f/2.8L + 1.4x II, which is almost more than I can say for myself. My favorite use is in between my 85mm f/1.8 and 1.4x. I got stuck with a quality I, but I don't plan to use EF-S lenses anyway.

DescriptionBy mounting the lens bashful on a camera body, you can create amazing macro images. It is extremely fun to turn you lens into a macro lens.Customer ReviewsZealous for extreme close ups of stationary subjectsIt is a flexible device. Remember that by default when you use the reversed lens, your lens is wide open giving you a very fussy depth of field. I used this with my MM F/1.4 where the focus is set to infinity. I can get real close (2/3 inches) from the discipline and get a full frame shot of a point on your subject. Your lens should be MM filter size. You need to be cautious with the following.1. You are exposing the back of your lens. when you get too close to the subject, make sure you are not knocking anything off with the back fundamentals. (hope someone comes up with a back element protection filter {I am planning to make my own}).2. Most very likely you will be moving in and out to get the focus from the subject. If your light source is too close it can cast a glare. (Not accurate you can find a lens back side hood)3. Be careful with the lighting. TTL metering works, but if I experienced some blown out highlights when I was not watchful with the lighting.4... Paltry Price, Lots of Fun! I don't have the hoard for a macro lens, and after seeing other work using this type of product, I decided to try this myself. Unavoidable glad I did!The first time I put it on, I was disappointed because I could not bring anything into focus. So I hopped online, searched for how-to's, and did some reading. The next day, I fastened it again with my new understanding of how to work things, and behold - beautiful macro!Things I learned from my online examination that helped me:- fixed lenses work best, I used my 50mm 1.4 on my Canon 5D- dial down the space to your desired setting while the lens is attached to the camera normally, shut off the camera, slay the lens, then attach with the reversing ring... all electrical connections with the lens are adrift when it is reversed, so you must set it how you want it before detaching- be sure to switch to manual focus on the lens- be meticulous, the glass of the lens is exposed when in reverse!-... Save that Product Works intimate with my cheapo 18-55 Canon kit lens for shooting incredible macro photography.Great shape quality.

DescriptionIf you have a SLR or DSLR camera and other maker/mount lenses, the Fotodiox Mount Adapters cede to you to use your lenses on the film/digital camera body. Sharing lenses has some distinct advantages. Sure prime lens just can't be replaced, and you save cost of purchase lenses. Fotodiox offers a number of adapter from large format to smaller format digital adapters. Adapting larger plan lens, i.e., large format - medium format, medium format - 35mm, unequalled edge-to-edge sharpness; and the smaller 24x36 mm image field helps minimize the effects of lens distortion and irregularity.Customer ReviewsWorks, but could be larger . . .I purchased this adapter in the hopes it would grant me to use my FD glass on my EOS 5D until I could afford equivalent EF lenses. I used it with my FD 50mm f1.4, FD 135mm f2.5 SC lenses and did some experimenting with a 400mm f6.3 T-Mount lens. Here are some of my conclusions:1) The adapter's lens diameter is too shamed for a full frame camera like the 5D. This leads to vignetting which would be a problem if you try to use the image out to the edge. It was not as notable with the 135mm lens as it was with the 50mm or 400mm. Note that this may not be an issue with crop sensor cameras. I gape if the this problem could be fixed by increasing the adapter's lens diameter.2) The experiment with the 400mm lens was to get rid of the adapter's lens and use it as an extension tube to improve the close focus of that particular lens. I would not recommend doing that since the adapter lens does not charge out as one piece - so you have to be very careful to remember how to... Fotodiox Adapter Works Well The adapter does what it says it does. Yes you forfeit a little detail because of the extra glass piece. I have 4 FD lenses that I can now use with my Canon 60D. Believe it or not, when I shoot in video vogue I love the way the video looks when I use this adapter. It has a slight movie-like faint dim. It's a good effect. If you are looking to take really crisp pictures, you might not want to purchase. Don't get me undesirable though, the pictures still look really good. You just lose a little detail. Hope this consideration helps with your decision. Tested today i honourable tested the adapter today , with a 28-70 Summatech 1:2.8 ~ 4.2 and the pictures came out lovely good , HD video's nice also ... the adapter looks like it can handle the copious-er lens , but i would not put all my money on that ... i will still support the lens wile shooting . and given that i weary about 13 $ on the lens at a thrift store , i think this adapter is really worth the charge. Another detail , make sure you lock the lens all the way ... wait for the click.
Canon FD/FL Lens to Canon EOS EF Body Mount Adapter with Infinity Focus, made in Japan

DescriptionUpshot Features Description This adapter allow to use CANON FD mount lenses and macro accessories on Canon EOS cameras. The lens stiffness scale can be used as well as the focusing to infinity .The adapter has correction lens inside. Customer ReviewsTolerant to mis-use.from 47th St. CameraI ordered both adapters from Amazon.Com and recieved the CZFDEOSA from Adorama and a issue marked Kipon FD-EOS from 47th ST Camera. The Kipon product is excellent. Unfortunately it can easily be mis-hand-me-down for three reasons. 1) It is high precision and fits the EOS body very tight. It must be turned until it "clicks", which takes more than the expected wrest. 2) The adapter lens mount allows the adapter lens to be easily removed, and might be positioned out of align of focus. There is no lens stop, which is good since I can adjust to match the exact point of infinity on the lens. The stand seems to be the same for all my FD lenses. 3) The product would benefit from some instructions even though they are obvious to... Good enough adapter The maker I received was "Kipon". The adapter comes without instructions, but I found it easy to figure out (It objective took about 30 seconds). One red dot was to line up with the eos camera mount, and the other red dot was to line up with the FD lens mount. The words "bar and open" are written on the adapter. You turn it counterclockwise (open) to mount the lens, after which you can something goodbye it as is, or you can turn it clockwise (lock) to get the aperture blades to stop down. I'm not a camera expert but I did not find it that obstinate to use.As might be expected, the corrective lens is not high quality, but then again it doesn't claim to be. Quality of pictures is hit or disregard. Some of them do come out soft (in some cases 'misty', or with a bright aura), but other times I can't tell the contradistinction from those taken with an EF lens. I've taken a lot of good pictures with this adapter. In the end, it's good for playing around with your old FD lenses, but... Canon FD lens to EOS EF Group Mount I bought this adapter to take more favourably of the great FD lens buys on Ebay. It works. However, I find it much more user demanding than EF and EF-S lens. It's a delicate toy and good gear to go with your EOS camera if you have FD lenses or are thinking about getting any. Bottom line, it works.

Improved antireflective internal coatings also spreading transmissivity & performance in backlit conditions. NOTE: When employed with the EOS 5/A2/A2e camera, exposure compensation must be set to - 0.5 EV with the 1.4x II or - 1.0 EV with the 2.0x II. Autofocus will calling on...Expected to double the focal length of any compatible Canon EF lens, the Canon EF 2x II extender telephoto accessory is model for sporting events and nature photography. The lens boasts a new seven-element think up, along with the same weather-resistant and anti-reflective internal construction as the companion EF 1.4x II extender. More significantly, the extender supports autofocus with any EOS congress provided the lens has an f/2.8 or faster maximum aperture (the EF 2x II reduces effective space by two stops). The EF 2x II--which also maintains an EOS camera's Image Stabilization technology--carries a one-year promise.
Customer ReviewsGrotesque add-onIt should be conspicuous - this extender really needs to be used with a tripod. That alone will increase your image quality. It's also meant for the higher quality Canon lenses - the EF series. 90% of the complaints about this accessory ignore those two records. The next biggest complaint - autofocus. Again, Canon is clear that you need a lens with an aperture of 2.8 or faster in out of whack for autofocus to work. Basically, so what! If I'm on a tripod shooting my subject, I'm going to pre-focus . The probingly of field is in such a compact area and you're zoomed in so much, autofocus is really not that important. What did people do before autofocus? Hop the photo? So if you understand what you are purchasing and know how to use it - well, like with any great tool - you'll produce unrealistic results. If you don't know how to use it, try and do a hand-held 400mm zoom, or attempt to catch that bird as it swoops former, forget it. This is not a $5,000 lens. It's a $300 add on that... Must have for sports and identity shooters. If you have the big lenses (400mm f/2.8L IS USM or even the 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM) this is completely worth the addition. The 2x does NOT kill the autofocus on the f/2.8 and effectively doubles your lens with very no distortion around the edges. Check compatability on Canon's website. You won't be disappointed! Twice the reach at what toll? This extender is predetermined to which lenses it will work with, most of them L lenses. The II model features a new seven-element weather-ungovernable design, and improved anti-reflection internal construction. Auto-focus is workable with any EOS body if an f/2.8 or faster maximum aperture lens is used. Image Stabilization lenses persevere in the IS feature when used with current EOS cameras. Using this extender with any lens will eliminate one or two f stops and cut down sharpness to some degree.I rented this extender to use with the . This lens while sharp and high in quality, is not the sharpest L lens out there. I found adding this extender with the 100-400mm caused the sharpness to suffer too much for my tastes outweighing the help of having extra reach. The...
Canon LA-DC58K Conversion Lens Adapter for Canon G10 & G11 Digital Cameras
DescriptionCanon LA-DC58K Conversion Lens Adapter for Canon G10 Digital Cameras. Required to lock the Tele Converter - TC-DC58D to your camera. Compatible Products: PowerShot G10Customer ReviewsRefrain from at any cost -Made of inexpensively plastic, this is actually a TWO-PIECE affair with a 57mm (odd-size) thread in the middle. All the plastic adapters I have owned stripped, irate-threaded or got loose threaded in no time, Canon has doubled your chances by making it two pieces that increase together. The worst part is that when they do eventually cross-thread, your heart stops for a second as you check the camera remains to make sure it did not cross-thread.You can buy a metal alternative at [...]. Don't fritter away your money on this... The Canon LA-DC58K Adapter for the G10 is a unusable of money. The thing rattles due to improper fit when mounted, it's a two-piece(who knows why) plactic adapter that when put to it's meant use, attaching a 58mm filter, vinettes severly at standard zoom range. Canon is,in my opinion, falling behind other manufactures in eminence, and now appearently, in design engineeering as well. Too bad. Unsuitable for filters Unsuitable for filters, because of vignetting at large angles and insufficient length for full telephoto extension of the lens. Should work fine with the Canon 1.4x tele adapter. For filters, about the Lensmate alternative. |
