5" x 3" Magnifying Glass
Details
Description10 x the power with bearing in mind explain MafgnifiyerCustomer ReviewsNot what is pictured.I needed a larger magnifying glass for a venture that I am working on. The picture that is shown with the little boy shows a much larger magnifying glass than the one I was sent. The one they sent isn't even 3". Its very much lying advertising and I will not purchase from this individual again! Displeased I didn't improvise I was buying a toy...the glass lens are loose and the magnification is less than useful..Had I known it was a toy I would not have bought it.. Adept for us. Bought as an element for our own " dora backpack." Wanted to put together the items for a little explorer that were higher rank than the premade set. This magnifier scored big points for the birthday girl.
Plan Toys Planactivity Leaf Magnifying Glass Discovery Set
Details
DescriptionEnables ornate exploration of the outside world.
Customer ReviewsPropitious For Little OnesThis is a lovely child sized magnifying glass. It isn't too large and heavy like some of its metal counterparts. I debated on whether I should get a time-honoured one or a child sized one. For a 2.5 year old boy this seemed like the appropriate gift, but if I was buying for a lady over the age of 4 I would go with the metal one instead. This smaller more compact version doesn't magnify as well as I would have hoped. The lens in made of acrylic "PMMA" (Polymethylmethacrylate), and does not curb PVC (polyvinyl chloride) or PC (polycarbonate)and is also BPA free. I wished that I had known this before buying. I guess with System Toys I was expected glass. All in all it has been a hit with my son who especially likes the two tiny red ladybugs on the handle.
Primary Science Set
Details
DescriptionTen kooky experiments quicken kids to investigate the wacky world of science. Includes 12 piece lab equipment and mild to follow experiment cards.Customer ReviewsExtensive science kit!Bought this kit for my 6 yr old daughter who good started kindergarten (home school). I was looking for a fun & easy yet educational science kit so we could do some experiments. She surely loves this kit! We spent time learning what each piece of equipment was first, then we did the first experiment which was using first-rate colors to make secondary colors. Love the experiments which are on large laminated cards. Unoppressive to understand, fun to do, and most everything needed you already have on hand. I definitely recommend this to anyone with a pre-school or kindergarten aged daughter who wants to have fun while learning science! Serious Beginner Science Set! My 3 year old loves this set. It is brawny, and chunky and easy to use. It is definitely the best science kit for the PreK age group I have seen. I liking that it comes with brightly colored laminated project cards. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that are a few flaws.1) The exam tube lid is not leak proof. Which is usually not a problem but can be with vigorous shaking and/or if you feel the check tube to the very top.2) None of the 10 projects use the flask. This may seem like a small complaint but my daughter is a hold sway follower and she is sad that none of the experiments direct her to use it.3) Some of the projects include steps that are impossible. For prototype, it will tell you to use the tweezers to remove something from the test tube, but the tweezers do not fit in the test tube. These flaws, despite, I do love the set and would recommend it. Tremendous for little scientist!! I bought this for my son for a Christmas baksheesh. He is 6 and wants to be a scientist. We have purchased other experiment sets before but they are a little hard to work with because you shortage to get cups out to hold things in place. This set is nice and oversized with stands to hold everything. It comes with staggering cards with nice easy to follow experiments written on them. This set is an A+.

Watch as your kids build impractical skills through observation, creative reasoning, and imaginative play. Amateur sleuths can use items such as rearview spectacles, code wheels, and composite drawing materials in a variety of imaginary detective scenarios. A showy Spy Guide provides easy-to-follow instructions for activities such as taking fingerprints, documenting "suspects'" moves, and deciphering coded messages. The kit also includes a magnifying glass, a close flashlight, an ink pad, fingerprint powder, secret marker pens, a red message filter, classify cards, and a special agent I.D. card. "Don't forget," the Spy Guide urges, "observe everything, look for clues, put pieces together, go private, take a lot of notes, and have fun!" (Parents with low tolerance for black powdery messes may want to transfer the fingerprint powder.) Flashlight requires two AAA batteries, not included. --Joan DeClaire Customer ReviewsMajor gift for girls too!I purchased the Clandestine Detective Activity Kit for my eight year old granddaughter. We combined it with a wig, false teeth, and a few other items in a day-sack labeled "Lauren's Field Kit." It was such a huge hit with her and all the kids and adults. The uncles made up a crime whereabouts by stealing something of hers and the aunts all helped her follow the clues. It was amazing and she still thinks it's her favorite largesse of all times! We did put the fingerprint powder up for special usage as her little brother and sister aren't to hand for that and I think neither was mom! A Lawful amount of fun I would only classify this OK. It wasn't as sturdy as I had hoped. Some of the pieces of the kit are thin cardboard. I might even just say it is thick paper. I don't think it will last for many detective adventures. Fun toy with a batch of activities This is a fun kit for both boys and girls. My kids did a class of activities together through this, and looking for clues made it fun. There was lots of different things to discover in the box, too.

baking cookies
playing with a magnifying glass shell
I don't konw where u stay but my kids love to just go out and do a nature walk finding leaves then you can bring them knowledgeable in and do leaf rubbings, after you do them if they turn out good you could frame them for christmas presents for g-parents.
What's the name of that activity/games book, which had that decoding pen and was for kids ages 8 to 88?
You acclimated to to buy them at gas stations about 20 years ago. Kind of a narrow book. It came with this pen which produced a legible, transparnet liquid on normal paper. But when used in the book it revealed a ebon print underneath. They had games
I reminisce over those! Heck if I can remember what they were called, though. Seems like it may have been from the same people that made "Mad Libs."
Got it! They're called "Yes and Identify" invisible ink books and

My daughter is 3 yrs old and soo unswerving-minded. here's a list of what i feel guilty about doing:
I soemtimes get impatient with ehr when were leaving our apartment and she doddles to the car like i'll say "cmon, hrury" like that
your guilts not pseudo.. you shouldnt be doing those things so you are right in feeling 'bad' about them.. listen to your feelings about something, its inclined to not the best choice if it doesnt make you feel good about the situation.

My kid just found an 1856 coin stuck in an old piece of furniture - Boing Boing (54 diggs)
Aug 25, 2010 from boingboing(Boing Boing) in Lifestyle
A few minutes ago my 7-year-old daughter called me into the scullery. She showed me a tiny gray metal disk that she found wedged in the breach of an old wooden hutch that belonged to my mother-in-law. I looked at it with a magnifying glass and then googled "six-cuspidate star US tiny coin." It's a silver three-cent piece from 1856.
"Kid Nation" Holds Magnifying Glass to Kids, Ants (6 diggs)

As a Aristotelianism entelechy competition, "Kid Nation" is kinda boring. As a social experiment, "Kid Land" is much more interesting and, of course, morally reprehensible.
Car Fires From Water Bottles (8 diggs)
Apr 26, 2007 from bankhead
Your parents may have warned you as a kid not to brown-nose a toy with with the magnifying glass in the sun, lest you set things afire. Now there comes word of another common household entity that can set things alight when exposed to direct sunlight: the common thin out bottle that many people carry with them in the car to take to work, or the gym, for instance.
