    It works
While this magnifying lens (which is uncommonly a Fresnel lens) is very light and flexible: it does the job for me. Lately, it seems that the books I'm reading have increasingly ashamed print (ugh!) and my glasses just aren't cutting it. I've recently tried several different magnifying devices, without much good fortune, and this one seems has been the most satisfying. Fortunately, the picture that Amazon provides gives a good representation of how it works - yes, one wishes to hold it above the book; sure it bends (and distorts the text). Just the same, it does do the job (I bought mine for even less than Amazon's outlay at a bookstore). For those expecting the perfect magnifier, this is not what many will want. It is; however, an extremely low cost alternative to a new two of a kind of glasses. I am finding that I can generally read about half a page before having to shift the lens to a new establish - that's a lot better than having to continually move other magnifiers as one reads. In...
    to frail
The yield should not be so flimsy, I have to concentrat on holding it and I loose my place in my book. So now I don't use it all it's done nothing for me. Somebody needs to approach up with a new idea and better product.
    waste
I bought this for my ageing mother. She found it to be totally useless in reading books. She said it was flimsy and you couldn't scan a page at a time with it.

Wow, to death I found these!
Fabulous product, really works well! Just use the hottest water you can stand on your fingers to audition. It softens just enough then bonds well to the cleaned glasses. Amazing that it REALLY works. Try it, You will be advantageous too. The lenses are just a tad large so unless your glasses are very large (like mine are) you will have to trim along the top of the lenses. Premeditated product.
Will never be without them again
My optometrist introduced these to me several years ago. It took a while to find them back then, and I now needfulness a new set (stronger) so I am purchasing from amazon.com. These lenses are absolutely incredible. Whenever I go to the beach, I always bring these along. Much easier than bringing reading spectacles and sunglasses. The inserts work as well as reading glasses.
    Ideal for sunglasses, safety glasses...
...plunging masks. As a videographer, using regular reading glasses to view the monitor on top of the glad camera was a pain. I stuck a pair of these OPTX 20/20 stick-on bifocals(just wet them with excellent, place them, ready to go!) at the TOP of a pair of safety glasses, and it was easy to view both 'live' and invigilator. I've had a pair on my sunglasses for at least five years. They're great!

    Bad Pay for, Poor Quality
I meditation this was a really cool idea, but these things broke after using them only a couple of times. The exchange broke off and I had to use a pin to turn them on, then the battery doors wouldn't stay closed. So they were basically inept after one day. I guess I should not expect much from a pair of lighted glasses for 10 bucks. After this experience I went and bought some LightSpecs lighted reading specs that I saw at Walgreens which have worked out great. I paid about $25 for them, but I have found that you get what you pay for.
    Lighted reading spectacles
Proper item to read in bed while wife is trying to sleep. Also works well in car to not bother driver. I've also acquainted with it when staying in a room where bedside lighting is poor. The batteries last about 10 hours. The replacements are about $3-4. (elbow from Amazon)
They do the job for the readies well spent!
A very expense effective purchase that fulfilled the need I had, reading in the dark. They worked just consummate. I would recommend them to anyone needing an inexpensive set of readers with LEDs attached.

Astigmatism intuitively drives the price of your glasses up.
I have prescription lenses for myopia and no astigmatism. But they are still customized for me. Your lens(es) will have to be loam specifically for you and your visual focal points.
