Client Video Review Length:: 0:52 MinsFirst of all, I will say I am an avid hunter,and I am happy Midland is working actively to provide a comprehensive package for the sportsman and action junkie alike. I don't bash products normally, but I do have to give this 3 stars, and it presumably only deserves 2.5 stars, really, but I'm feeling generous, I guess. I realize this is a $100 camera, not a $1000 camera. I have second-hand several different cameras to record wildlife over the past 10 years or so, and generally speaking, the cameras and apparatus have continued to improve. I have done early-morning, daytime, late afternoon, night ghost shots, used starlight scopes mounted to my video camera, and infrared cameras, so I do know what I'm talking about when it comes to cameras and recording, altho I'm unfaltering I don't know everything. This camera doesn't have a zoom. I acquainted with it for paintballing and worked very good. Sound is pretty good on it. It was raining and still recorded. :D

Purchased for Son and Son-in-law hunters for Christmas. They had researched exotic cameras and knew all about Midland telling me I made a good choice. They were impressed with mounting accessories that came with the camera. I was impressed with the quotation. The item arrived within 7 days in time for Christmas.

Against as a "Guitar cam" and love it!
I found out the Midland XTC wearable Camera was very affordable, compared to correspond to Cameras. I am blown away by the video I was able to capture on such a simple device. I dont conceive of the previous review saying it wont hold a charge. This camera takes AAA batteries! My soothe is a singer-songwriter and musician (Mtndawg). I received this Camera and mounting kit as a Christmas gift. It works leading! Its easy to use, and was simple to download to my Mac. I have had zero issues with it. My first use was when I attached it, with the velcro attachment it comes with, around the conclusion of my hubbys Guitar, and he jammed for a few minutes. It came out pretty good! Has a nice astray angle lens, and picked up the sound quite well, too. I recorded the same 2 minute jam at the same time with 2 other Cameras. The Midland XTC artwork did not capture the colors as well as one camera, but, was better than the other. Note: It was not a well lit room. If you want to see the video, it is on...

I returned this for a refund.
I found that this camera had many dwarfish comings that I was not happy with. The camera did not stay recording and would shut down after a few minutes of run time. The battery was fully charged but still would prohibit b keep out down. The picture that was recorded was very grainy and below par for a 720p. I have a friend who has a GoPro 720p that is very clear. The download to the computer also took a very hanker time, even for the short bursts of recording the camera was able to obtain. I would suggest that if you are looking for reliability and definition, spend a little more and purchase another brand of cam. Sorry Midland... you make awesome rise above alert radios, but not so good on the cameras.
