Obviously purchase a second battery!
If you own a Nikon S8000 camera, To be sure purchase a second battery for your camera. When the low battery indicator lights up on your Nikon S8000, it means you have just a couple photos communistic. I won't go anywhere (that I am taking numerous photos) without TWO fully charged batteries. And, I won't purchase the "knock-off" brands -- only the EN-EL 12 by NIKON gets against in my camera.

Pass one over on on mAh
I wanted to buying a spare EN-EL12 battery that had the equivalent mAh to the OEM battery. The OEM Nikon battery has 1050 mAh as does the photo shown in the BatteryFly ad. The battery I received was labeled 800 mAh. The photo is misleading.
Heinous to have a spare!
If you're like me and have a camera that wishes the "custom" battery it's always great to have a spare one around. There are of high, manufacture quality and last a very long time. I've gotten more than 2 era worth of heavy shooting with lots of zoom focusing, etc. It's cheap and small to have on proffer so you don't miss that perfect shot. Suggest buying the "external" charger as well, who wants to have to PR in a camera just to charge the spare battery.

Nikon S9100 battery steed
This economical battery charger for Nikon Coolpix S9100 camera really fulfilled all my expectations. It can be plugged in to a wall escape or alternatively into a car's 12 V outlet, which makes it very convenient for traveling. The charger has an indicator when the battery is full and will not overcharge it. The shipping was very expeditious. Based on all of this, I really think it does not make sense to spend much more money on the real Nikon charger.

Belongings unit with one minor problem
Probity product - however - for long term storage the battery should be DISCHARGED ! I would hope the unit would AUTOMATICALLY take carefulness of that necessity, charging the battery when one wanted to use it, perhaps overnight the night before intended use.

I my fiance desperate her original charger for her Nikon CoolPix S550 and she was going to just replace the charger with the original. The actual charger goes for about $40 bucks. When I found this on Amazon for about $11 after shipping I thought what the Hades. It works great and even has a car charger. Why spend the 40 bucks on the original when you can get a product that does the same element plus comes with a car charger.

Replacement battery for Nikon ELN-5
Having recntly purchased a Nikon P100 camera that uses a EN-EL5 battery, I wanted to pay for an additional battery to take on an upcoming trip to Russia. I was also looking for a quick charger to use in place of the method that Nikon provides on this camera (advert in a power supply into the camera to charge the battery in place). This package seemed too good to be dedicated! It offered a spare battery, a rapid charger, a 12 volt adapter for the charger, and an adapter to use the prompt charger in Europe/Russia. Several reviews made comments about the battery not fitting and that the battery was smaller in rating than a Nikon. Still, for the valuation,it was hard to pass up.Well, after receiving the battery, charger, adapters, and then using the charger to charge the battery, I proceeded to stay out the new battery in my Nikon P100 with the following results:First, the Nikon battery is rated at 3.7Volts and 1100 mAh - the replacement battery is rated at 3.7 Volts...

Pleased as Punch as a Clam!
I had very recently purchased a Nikon P100 and realized that with the amount of pictures I take, it's always good to have lots of memory cards -- and a additional battery. The camera charges the battery while IN the camera, making it a pain in the neck while it renders the camera not usable until the transform is completed. This accessory bundle of an EN-el5 lithium-ion battery plus the battery charger with car adaptor was just the perfect rejoin! Not only did it fulfill all my needs, but at an inexpensive price. The battery alone at BestBuy was nearly $40. Now with my extra battery, I can be charging one on the fence or via my car while using the other one for photographs. And best of all, it arrived several days before I ever expected it! I've been very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone.
Extra always virtuous in a pinch.
It's always a consumable idea to have extra batteries ready to go and with this bundle you can charge them up on the go with the car adapter. An absolute must for the Mediocre as well as pro Photographer. After all, would you drive your car without a spare tire?
