Does not fit Lumix FZ150
I ordered this after speaking to an Amazon purchaser service person about problems I was having with the original Panasonic USB cable. He told me this would industry with the FZ150, but it doesn't. It doesn't fit the socket. I bought another product on Amazon that works jolly: "Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ150 USB Cable - USB Computer Cord for Lumix DMC-FZ150." It's better than the archetype cable.Hard to rate a product I couldn't use, but it was supposed to work with the FZ150 and it doesn't.

Novice to Advanced
What can I say? I adoration the 5400! It is my second from the Coolpix series. My first was a CP 880 that took a fall so the 5400 was a replacement. It's well quality the money. I looked around a lot and couldn't find anything I liked from other manufacturers that packed the features and flexibility of the 5400.If you are a new digital buyer, the auto mode and scene modes are great. I usually shoot in P or M modes and can exchange the dial to Automatic mode and hand it to my wife who likes the ability to point and streak without thinking about adjusting anything. You can grow into this camera if you don't know yet how to shoot manually.The 15 many scene modes to choose from are excellent. The panoramic assist mode is particularly control. You can shoot a panoramic horizontally, vertically or in a 360 degree circle. You take photos and then put them together after download with the ArcSoft software that comes with the camera. A digital learner's impression: Very good, but not perfect
Although I have had years of meet with with conventional cameras in both 35mm and medium format, the Nikon Coolpix 5400 is the first digital camera I have owned. I had grown wearying of traveling with a 35mm and several lenses, or even more bulky medium format cameras.Other reviewers have amply written about the features of this camera. I am accepted to focus on performance.The Coolpix 5400 has good optics. I have shot the equivalent of several rolls of videotape on it. The photos have been crisp, had faithful color rendition without any glaring digital artifacts, and uncommonly don't need any software manipulation. So far, so good.All is not roses, however. The Coolpix 5400 is very, very, very slow in writing from the a/d converter to the flashcard. Fire off a collection of shots in continuous mode and get ready to wait. And wait some more. Smokers will have time for a cigarette or two; others could take a minuscule bus ride or file their nails. It's that bad...

Much safer than anticipated
I was not enjoying the pursue for a consistently well-reviewed digital camera. It seemed like every camera had an upside, and every camera had a downside.Fortunately, this camera was well-reviewed and within my outlay range. I wasn't expecting much at first, but when I took it out of the box and started tinkering with it, I was pleasantly surprised.The camera is very alcohol friendly, and I had few "What did I just do and how do I undo it?" moments. The menus are self-explanatory, and easily maneuvered.One of the most desirable aspects to this camera is that I have never really had a problem getting pictures to turn out. There are multiple fair-skinned balance settings along with multiple flash settings so that if a picture happens to come out too promising or too dim, a few button pushes and it is easily resolved.The face-finder feature is a great one, although I have done few account photos. Awe-inspiring CAMERA
I purchased this digital camera to supplant an older Kodak model and I am very impressed with the ease of use and the picture quality of this Nikon. To show how technology has so like a shot improved, my Kodak, which was purchased several years ago for $500, had 1 megapixel and took great pics. This camera is 4 megapixels, takes video as well as still shots, and has a hotel-keeper of other features that my Kodak did not have, and I paid $150 for it. Plus, the smaller size of the Nikon, as compared with the Kodak, makes it easier to delight a win along. I purchased a 1GB memory card to store a lot of pictures. The internal memory of the camera, without the show-card, can hold about 10 pics. The viewing screen also improves the ability to take pictures more without difficulty than looking through a small viewfinder. I was very pleased with the movie mode, which takes crystal utterly videos. There is no audio with the movie feature, but I save important videos for my video camera. A-one Compact Point-and-Shoot
I, too, bought this camera as a replacement for a above digital camera. My Olympus D-450 was flawless - at only 1.3 megapixels, the quality of the photos (even 8x10 enlargements) was extraordinary and it was extremely easy to use. However, there was the issue of those mini-megapixels, the camera's age (7 years) and gauge (it was getting too big to schelp around handily). Colossal accessory
I have the waterproof casket for the S100 and S110. It is fantastic and is what prompted me to buy the digital elph. I've taken this sailing, snorkeling, windsurfing, and fishing and it has entranced many photos underwater. It's also protected my camera from rain in boats.The great thing is on one present to you have a good waterproof camera if you use this housing. And when you don't need it, you take the camera out and it's a tiny regular camera again. Very malleable to meet the needs of the moment.Really nice accessory.

Exceeded my expectations
Within a three weeks of purchase, I had this case as deep as 105ft of water for three consecutive days, twice a day. I quite averaged about 50ft for around for an hour per dive. Point? 6 hours of real depth with no problems and spectacular pictures that beyond surprised me from the S200 Camera. Get precise to your subject, probably use the flash (I used the auto setting for the most part--and the diffuser thingy on this the truth) and the camera/housing will do the rest.Never had a drop get into the housing even though I exceeded the max depth (barely) a join of times. Follow the instructions, treat the gasket with love, and TEST IT before you subject your camera to it. They bearing you through the process in the manual, and it's kinda common sense.All of the camera controls are very easily ready, no hint of leaks. There is not cloth bag or anything with the case, so I use a ski-goggle bag. It should also be stored OPEN so the gasket does not obstruct compressed for long...

Works skilful. Nice solid product
I bought this casing for a dive to the Great Barrier Reef. I was able to get photos and video with total insouciance using this case. The construction is really solid and you can use all of the camera's controls. I even dove to 32 meters and was nervous because the case is only rated for 30 but it held up fine. Never had any leaks. Well worth the price.

I no more than received my Nikon S9 a couple of days ago.I am def. not disappointed in it (as of yet, that is).PROS:I like that the lens is NOT retractable (it's arranged the camera). I've read lots of reviews on all brands of cameras where reviewers complained that the lens gets stuck while sticking half-way out. This is something I don't have to be vexed about with the S9.I also like that it's durable. It's not made of plastic, it's very solid. I actually feel like I got what I paid for.Show quality is good. You need to hold the camera VERY still while shooting, since pictures tend to cloudiness easily. Not as real as Canon
I bought the Nikon Coolpix S9 as a replacement for my Canon PowerShot S410 because I wanted a lighter, less awkward ultra-compact camera with good picture quality. The S9 was the one of the lightest, and earlier versions of the Coolpix m received decent reviews.While the camera is light and fits nicely in my pocket, I must say I was not glad with the quality of the photos I took with the Nikon Coolpix S9. Most photos taken with flash in dark rooms came out watery and washed out white, and often had lens flare. And photos taken with flash off did not come out as convinced as they did with the Canon S410. Photos in normal lighting with flash on came out okay, but still did not contract the quality of the Canon.I'm returning the Nikon Coolpix to Amazon today and purchasing a Canon.

I execrate this camera
I have owned this camera for ~6 months and have conclusively deciced to replace it. I bought this camera to replace another Nikon CoolPix that was stolen from my house. But this one does not have a in consideration of finder to begin with and is way more complicated to use. I have always liked Nikon cameras but the S9 just doesn't make it. I can not use it face because I can not see the LCD screen. Sorry Nikon but you blew it on this camera!!So I replaced it with a Canon PowerShot A710. What a inequality in ease of use and... it has a view finder. also my 1G memory card from the Nikon fits in the new Canon.
