Celebrated PanHead
I bought this PanHead along with the Induro AT114 Tripod to contrive pictures to turn into panoramas. I'm not sure what the "1-Way" means in its name, but it easily adjusts to any configuration for periodic or fisheye panorama pictures. Indexing marks make it very easy. This sturdy, spacy quality PanHead not only is easy to setup and adjust, but is a work of art in itself. Looks great - works weighty
The new exemplar for tripod heads
I am bloody pleased with the performance of the Induro PHQ1. Since it was released, I have been eyeing it, but really wasn't sure if it was merit the price tag. Even more frustrating, living in Hawaii, I was unable to find a local shop that stocked the goods - most had yet to hear of the product. Since I am a very hands on try-before-you-buy kind of photographer, not to mention the lack of overall reviews around the internet, I remained irresolute to purchase it. Having finally taken the leap and purchased the PHQ1, I can unequivocally state that this is the rout tripod head I've used to date, and for me it is worth the price. The construction is very robust and solid. Nary a bit of wiggle or unsteadiness at any juncture or on the mounting plate. And while of solid construction, it really doesn't weigh a considerable amount, specially given the features and functionality of the unit. As for the functionality, watch the clear and outstanding...
Amazon screwed the Appellation but ts still worth 5 stars
This is a 5 way pill head (no such thing as a 1 way ball head). I got it for repeatability, flexibility and ease of positioning accurately. I am using it for forensics and pr top work; it is great. It doesn't have the precision of some of the higher end 3 way heads but it is a lot more flexible and costs $100s less. I intend to use mine mostly with the Joby Gorilla Pod for a project detailing wood finishes. Excellent whatsis if you need it. BTW don't take this out of the box and go on a paid shoot. It is easy to adjust but complicated and you don't want to look like a dog ice climbing a ladder in front of family, friends or clients. BTW very limited use in video. I think that it would be of the most use on slowly evolving scenes or where you tuneful much lock the camera down.

May not fit other manufacturers arca mounts
This pan head is oppressive duty with good support for my Canon 7D and heavy lens. It is well made with quality finish. However I encountered a serious uncontrollable with the fit of the DMP-200L nodal slide arca lever mount rail with my Kirk L Bracket for Canon 7D. It was to precarious and I was unable to make enough adjustment to even slide the bracket into the mount. However, I purchased a DMP-200 nodal neglect arca rail with thumb screw, which did fit. I am unhappy I paid an additional $98 to make this occupation with my Kirk L bracket. The included universal mount, even when mounted as tight as possible without harmful mounting threads, allows slippage with heavy lens. Perhaps cementing a textured rubber pad to the mounting fa of the bracket would fix this problem. With the changes I made to fix the problems I encountered, this was not the value I had hoped for. If you consider purchasing the same items I did, do it at the same culture so you can get a 10% discount...

Evidently it's no Kirk or RRS ballhead but it is great for sitting a camera and leaving it (time lapse) which is what I use it for. Very well-established, has no problem with a 5dmkII, battery grip and 70-200f2.8

At these prices, they should be proficient to pay an English website for the U. S. As a person, I am getting tired out of capsule heads. It never slides or anything, but it has an first “wilt” once the cross of the camera is released. Having to reset the camera over and over, estimating where the slump will go is a despair in the dupe, Specially during macro.
