Just now like the one that came with the Camera
This battery is selfsame to the one that came packaged with the original Nikon Camera and works exactly the same - same battery life, same charger acclimated to, etc, etc. If you want a spare battery to charge while you are using the original one than this is the battery for you.
OEM battery, explicitly what comes with the camera
This is an OEM battery that hysteria the Nikon S60 camera. It looks, functions and works exactly as the battery does that comes with the camera. Count on exactly the same performance. It does come with a small plastic sleeve to store it.

Not faithful match
the battery is legitimate slightly smaller than the nikon battery, so doesn't fit as tight as is should in the camera. I was able to finagle it to get it to work.
Serviceable LITTLE SPARE
The only difficulty I had is that I ordered it too late to arrive on time for vacation. I could have really used it too. When I got home I charged it and it's lasted lately as long as the original battery. I was very pleased with this replacement battery. With the amount we pay for shipping, it could have arrived a little faster.

Take protection with this item
I bought it alluring into consideration that it is a replacement for the original one, but after the first use I am disappointed.it holds the charge for a very few time, and the original one is enough for 300 pictures, this one, no more than 100!Take concern, it is unexpensive, but will not work the same way.

EN-EL12 Li-Ion Battery
I find it essential to have a second battery, so I can continue shooting (while my other battery is re-charging). These batteries have a decent life, claiming 300-400 shots per sortie. I'm impressed with how they hold their charge between shoots (if not exhausted) and can be used at different times over many weeks in suddenly spurts without noticeable loss of total energy storage. It's critical to get the separate EN-EL 12 battery mount with your battery, as by now you've noticed the charger coming with the Nikon camera (mine anyway, S8000) cannot charge a battery except inside the camera main part! - what good is that, unless you're never going to buy a second battery, & be limited by the Fates as to when you must hold back shooting to recharge. Recharge time, tho I didn't time it precisely, is good - less than 2 hours even when entirely exhausted. For maximum life, & to prevent premature exhaustion or "memory," it is recommended to fully weaken your batteries at least every few months;...

stupendous backup battery for the price
I purchased this for a traffic jam battery, for the price its perfect overall I have noticed a slight decrease in comparison to the OEM battery, but it works condign fine to get you by till your primary battery is charged again. For the price you could purchase several.

Must have for the CoolPix 880
If you have a Nikon CoolPix 880 you MUST have this battery. The EL-1 will keep you camera uninterrupted for about 2 hours and can be recharge with the Nikon AC Adaptor/Charger.You would better served if you pick up two of these so one can be chargeing while the other is in use. Lots of power brim-full into a tiny unit. Save the landfills and use a rechargable.Also this product can save you lots of scratch, as the standard battery is about $12 to replace.

This is the battery for Nikon Coolpix 775, 880 and 995
You can take a lot of pictures (100+) with the indictment on one of these batteries, but its hard to know when your going to run out. Having a second seems a must.I don' know about the other cameras that use this battery, but the 775 comes with an exotic charger that charges a battery in less than 2 hours. It also has an interal battery that keeps track of the date & time and is mechanically recharged from the fresh EN_EL1 battery. (Some camera settings are lost when you remove the EN_EL1 battery).

I own six of these batteries, and they have all worked fair. I typically go on road trips with some mountain climbing, and I will shoot hundreds of images a day. In the main, I go through about two batteries a day, at this rate. I often camp, so am unable to get to a power source, then have to get a motel room sometimes every other day.Using my EH-21, I can recharge as many as five batteries a non-stop--they usually take some 1.5 hours to fully recharge. It's so convenient to have the recharge light so I recognize when the charge is completed.I hope to upgrade to a higher MP Coolpix, soon, and the added recharger that now comes along with the camera should take off for faster recharging, then able to use two at a time.You do need to keep these babies warm during the night camping, and take them out of the camera while you're not using them during standoffish or cold nights.I have to replace a exhausted battery quickly for my Coolpix 880, since if I wait too...

I'll take cognizance of, I'm very skeptical when purchasing non-OEM items from any retailer. I purchased this set of batteries for my Nikon which I use on a daily basis for occupation purposes. I needed to carry a spare battery since I'm mostly out at job sites (I'm a project manager) and rarely have every now to charge up. I figured 2 batteries plus charger for the price of one OEM battery seemed too good to be true. I made my hold and received the order fairly quickly. I juiced up the batteries and gave them a rugged workout. After a full day's workout, The Wasabi batteries met the same beau id run-time as the OEM battery. Unprejudiced what my great camera needed
I fancy my little Nikon s4100, but I always get irritated by any product that requires you to use it as its own charger. When my battery dies, I like to be qualified to swap it with a spare fresh one and put the depleted one on the charger, but when the camera IS the charger, that doesn't profession. So I bought this little charger with an extra battery, and it works great! The charger was better than I expected, because now I can allegation through both a wall socket and the car. And the battery lasts longer than the original from Nikon - WIN / WIN!

Wonderful Value
My new camera came with a false battery which declared itself exhausted and refused to charge after one use. Buying this kit which includes a stand alone charger (original charges in camera), a car mount and 2 new batteries all at a cost of less than one new original Nikon battery or the cost of shipping the whole camera back to Nikon and being without a camera for who knows how covet and at what cost made sense and it came in 4 days.

Why is Nikon Coolpix battery exhausted, but shows 44% on the computer?

The battery said exhausted and then the camera turned off. So I boost it into the computer and it shows the battery is at 44%. The green light is on the camera so I think it is charging. However, the 44% hasn't moved since i plugged it in 20 minutes ago.

I equally used rechargeable batteries but in rare case when I insert new non rechargeable batteries in to my camera it does not vocation properly, display shows exhausted batteries, but it is fully loaded. what is the reason and treat.
