Conveniently breaks down into 4 foot sections for storage and transport with the turn of a handle. The crane is finished in black to blend in the background. Using oil impregnated bearings that self-lubricate themselves the Indy Jib crane will pan and tilt with precise smoothness.
The crane can be assembled in less than 5 minutes and is completely tooless. Other cranes require tools, nuts, and bolts to marshal them. Crane can be used in automatic tilt (camera stays level through the vertical tilt) and manual squabble (camera can be tilted vertically, independent of the crane). This allows flexibility in shots. Protean, Quality, Economical Camera Crane
We bought this as a dress for adding crane and pan shots to our corporate videos. The crane works very well. We attached our Panasonic AGHMC40 camera (two pounds) to it and counterweighted it with five, five-cleanse weights placed in the second hole and achieved an almost perfect balance. The jib/crane comes with three spaced holes at the back end of the crane so that weights can be moved around to up the camera. There are three or four adjustment holes in the vertical shaft to allow height adjustments. A locking pin keeps the calibrating secure. With the 25 pounds of counterweights on he jib and the resulting balance, movement up and down and side to side is very smooth, creating definitely professional look to the video (a slow rise or diagonal rise). The jib pivots smoothly, too, with the Dialect heft. The included tripod stand is sturdy and adjustable to allow the legs to stand wider or narrower. Cool jib.
Precise! A real high quality product. The only thing that could be improved is the quality of the "manual" which was even-handed a cheap single page photocopy and not very clear. But luckily it isn't hard to figure out how it all goes together. One leading thing about this jib, which is not explained anywhere, is that you can choose whether to use both extension arms, or to just use one set. This allows the jib to be 6' or 12', at your preference. Nice! The manual, and the company web site, does not give any indication of how much weight to use to balance the jib. I found that about 20 pounds line for line balances a Canon 7D with the 12' extension. The jib is very nicely made, extremely sturdy and should give years of use. I authoritatively recommend it.

Advantage it? Yes, twice over!
My Jib Crane indoors 2 days before the projected delivery so walking into the office seeing that big box felt like Christmas morning as a kid. I tore into it, in a family way complex instructions, but everything was self explanatory and it took longer to get the protective wrap off than it did to collect. That's a sign of solid, well thought out design. Sturdy construction, no flex, undisturbed as silk, and stable! I ordered the suggested stand in addition to this jib because it just makes suspect. Everything is sturdy and the crane has a wonderful matte finish that just says BC went the distance. Everything hysteria together as planned without drama or buyers regret. I'm 100% thrilled with both items. The only fixation that I don't like... No carrying case. This is such a great deal already, so I don't think anyone should be discouraged from buying it... as a note to BC Media... Belongings are cheap to make, but hard to find. Unswerving, cheap, working jib
This is an daunting jib with a great price. It just WORKS! Get amazing shots that everyone will be in awe. Using it with my 5DMK2. Stuck a manfrotto portion on and mounted a LCD monitor. Setup and breakdown. You can buy a bag from BC Media but I recommend putting foam padding between the bars because they can get scratched. This jib is the to the fullest extent.

WOW!!!!!
I just received my DV200 and I was blown to another place by how tall and sturdy it is. Keep in mind that I ordered the entire set, which includes the extension and the base bracket. My crane can easily reach 16', the base stand that is extra easily gave me 4' of leftover length and its super sturdy. Although I bought the monitor and I am returning it because it only has video cables and does not maintain my HDMI only cameras. I would recommend this to a friend!

ProAm Be Sturdy & Light
The ProAm Camera Crane Last is designed to work with the DVC 200 and 250 series video camera cranes. When the crane is ordered with the feeling the crane comes with the proper fitting that lets it be easily mounted to the stand. I was impressed with the stands develop weight and even more so with its stability. The stand can be raised if needed and features a locking pin that is permanently of interest to the stand. I've used the stand with the crane inside and outside and have found it do a nice job. The stand is lighter than a tripod but unwavering enough to safely operate the crane attachment. If purchasing the crane I think most would find the stand to be a wise investment. I purchased this matter with the ProAm DVC 200 8 foot crane on Amazon and was delighted that it included free shipping as well a speculator price!

Critical crane for DSLR's
4.5 stars on the non-HDMI sentinel and I would have gladly paid for the optional locking arm but everthing else is a 5 star. Everything is solidly built and looks very recently as good as it performs. The set up time is nothing and it is simple. This looks great in front of clients when they see you are using talented gear instead of homebuilt jokes. It came with everything advertised and nothing wiggles or has any slop. The bag is corpulent enough to include my tripod dolly and there is a face pocket large enough to fit lots of cables in. I would intimate using a tripod dolly to move it around and a motorized tripod head with extended cable so you can pan and tail find while the crane is locked. I am really glad I bought this as a kit instead of trying to fool around with a regular tripod or get by with less. I will disclose a video review soon like Han did on youtube. If your reading this Han, thanks for the suggestion.
