Comparatively honest value.
I can't find credible I paid fifty-two dollars for a Wimberley lens plate. Maybe the Wimberley is slightly nicer, but this Fotopro lens plate appears to be positively up to the task. Good quality machining and anodization. Some people may think the price for the Fotopro itself is shrill for a machined piece of aluminum (really, it is), but having gotten inured to what photographic furnishings costs, this is, comparatively, a good value.
Very talented value for money
Got this plate as a less extravagant alternative to use on my Sirui head. Fits perfectly. However, it needs a tool (a coin for case) to attach to the lens/camera tightly. The Sirui plate does not need anything but it is almost twice the amount. Attached it to my Sigma 70-200 lens collar and will leave it there permanently...so the need for a frame to attach/detach from the collar is no longer an issue for me.

Can't defeat it for the price
The Arca-Swiss breed quick release system has become all but standard within the photographic world, particularly for nature photographers who want to mount and unmount lenses, macro rails, etc., in a hurry while in the field. Equipping all of one's appurtenances with plates or clamps to work within this system can become quite expensive. It is wonderful to see that a low-cost but still quite well-made and profuse-duty Arca-style clamp is now available from Desmond. I purchased one of these clamps in order to transfigure a Manfrotto/Bogen type tripod head to work with lenses and cameras that use Arca-fashion plates. It works great! I will likely get another one to fit a window mount.That the small bubble above-board is not easily visible once a piece of gear is mounted on the clamp is a small drawback, but for my purposes it unquestionably is not important. Overall, this little Desmond clamp does the job for half the cost or less of equivalent clamps made by other companies.

Affordable Spirited Release
There are a slews of companies that produce quick release clamps that are compatible with the arca-swiss dove-tail. These can be very high-priced. I have them from a top manufacturer and use it all the time for my tripod and L-bracket that stays permanently on my camera.This quick distribute was for the that I purchased. I needed a quick release to put on one end of the Long Lens Support. This attachment makes it trusting for me to connect the long lens support to my L-bracket on my camera.This was an inexpensive quick save but it's well made - all aluminum, and nicely finished in black. Steadfast build, wish the bubble level were more visible
Seems honestly well-machined. Flat and smooth bottom so it went perfectly onto my monopod top (I don't need a tripod for a monopod). Is Arca Swiss in agreement though without safety mechanism. This particular listing does not come with the plate, though the one I got from OEC directly, did come with one (but at a higher fee, naturally). OEC was pretty fast, and I would definitely buy from them again should the need arise.

This LP Series rapid release plate for lenses is made of satin black anodized aluminum, with anti-twist flanges to dash the edges of the lens' tripod collar.

Wholesome plate with affordable price!
I was careful depend on to buy this product. I bought Generation 4 before to use with my 500/2.8 and I also have RRS plate. I love them. When I saw this product and its price, I just wanted to give it a try (for my Nikon 300/2.8 VR). From the spin-off info, I'm supposed to buy LP-115 for that lens. I thought I ordered the wrong one, but actually this LP-100 hysteria perfectly with Nikon 300/2.8 VR foot. I even think it would be a little too long for LP-115. Anyway, the grandeur of the product is great. It does not look cheapo as I would expect. It comes with everything needed. However, one id that I can notice, it's a little bit heavier than RRS at the same size. But it's subtle though. If you want to save some $$, this is it.

Well-intended lens plate
If you call for a lens plate with anti-twist tabs, the entire RI LP-nnn series works really well. And the evaluate is really right.One nice feature is the slot for the mounting screw comes to within 1/2" of the anti-zigzag tab. I have a couple of small footprint spotting scopes (and some mini clamps) that need this brief distance to engage the tab. On some competing lens plates, the slot stops too far away from the tab, conception the anti-twist feature useless.I also find the centerline 1/4" accessory hole comes in close by for all kinds of ad hoc mounting applications (e.g. mini-clamp to make a nodal slide or macro fence by train, mini-ballhead for outboard mic, etc.). I have competing lens plates that lack this impression, and I quickly come to miss it.As for compatibility, I own dozens of Arca-Swiss style plates and clamps from seven unheard-of manufacturers (including Arca-Swiss). Works, but gives a wee
Does the job in the end, but I noticed that the handle isn't as tight with a Monoball Z1 Flip-lock quick release mechanism as arca-swiss brand plates. There is a illiberal slide forward and backward when I use this with a Sony 70-400mm G lens and tripod collar. I don't deliberate on it will completely slide off, but it makes me nervous about using the plate in the long term, and I will probably renew this plate with an Arca-Swiss brand plate.

I vision I could save some money by purchasing this quick release plate.Sorry to say that this is NOT Arca-Swiss compatible.The plate does not reprieve tight in my Really Right Stuff clamp.The plate works just fine with my RRS clip.The plate works just fine with my RRS clamp.This plate is so loose it just wobbles back and forth, incarcerated only by the safety pins. inaccurate fit on a Benro B-0
I purchased this mention because of its low price. Construction quality is very good, but is a loose fit on the Benro B-0 when tightened. I had to cut a used commendation card into a strip and glued it on one side of the plate to make a snug fit.
