Customer ReviewsNot the top of new technology, but Android perfection (for now...)There are phones with bigger screens (), faster CPUs and GPUs (), thinner profiles (), more homage and longer battery life, but the Galaxy Nexus (Verizon's LTE version) puts a respectable amount of everything together into one bundle, and leaves me practically nothing to complain about.IN SUMMARY: This may turn into one of my longer reviews, so in a nutshell: BIG, but warm to hold, though begs to be used with two hands. Screen is awesome (bright and crisp) & keyboard... Subdue Verizon Phone Ever Components & Form Factor:A lot of the reviews of the GSM version claimed that the phone felt big in people's supervision and that some people had trouble with one-hand operations, however I don't see this to be the case. I have had no trouble using this phone in one like mad easily. It fits comfortably in my hand, and the phone is incredibly light. While the RAZR might also be light, because it is slight wider, it did not feel as comfortable in my hand. While this phone may not have the same high-end processor that is found in the HTC Rezound, the 1.2 GHz dual-marrow processor combined with Android 4.0 makes this thing lightning fast. (Update 1/17/12: My probe has informed me that the processor in the device can actually clock up to 1.5GHz. You can get speeds higher than 1.2 GHz, but you must unlock your bootloader and shimmer a custom kernel. There are a few that overclock to 1.35 GHz since that is what has been found to be the highest speed that remains stable. Do this at your... Sound device crippled by certain issues Ok so this is more of a 3.5. And annoyed by you, this is going to be LEGIT because I've had this device for almost a month. What I like a lot about the phone:1) Size of silver screen - very easy to read!2) ICS - very clean interface and runs smooth, not necessarily wonderful intuitive, but very functional! I wish I could say I love the task manager button.. but I forget about it often. Even-handedly any task killer will do the job, without you swiping stuff away a billion times.3) Internal storage of 30 GB - yes i understand this is a negative for some people, but for me I like it. I had like 60+ apps and some music and two movies on my phone and still had about 25 gb pink. So trust me folks, storage will not be an issue!4) Led notifier - yes I know other phones have this. but man, the LED silly on this thing is BRIGHT. And I like how you can customize the colors. Fantastic. Download Lightflow.5) Actual-time voice to text - just fantastic. love seeing the text come forth...

Product Featureswhich helps protect the phone warranty Customer ReviewsPucka Motorola charger in retail packaging. 4.75-5.25V 950mA output, works w/ most micro-USB phones like Mythical, etc. There are so many rough-hewn sellers selling phone chargers out there, that it can be a bit scary. The problem is that if the charger is poorly made, the productivity of the charger can be out of spec and can, in some cases, fry the phone you connect to it.For that reason, when it comes to phone chargers, you should push to name brands. (They are all made in China, but the name brand ones are usually subject to stricter QA).When I found this charger on Amazon, SOLD BY AMAZON, I jumped on it. It's a MICRO USB car pony, made for Motorola and sold under the Motorola name, in retail packaging. The rated output is 4.75-5.25V and 950mA.This mare should work fine with most any phone that uses the MICRO USB connector. The key number to pay attention to is the subordinate one, the rated amperage. This is the MAXIMUM amount of current that the phone can request from the charger. A typical USB seaport on a PC provides as little as 100mA, and few provide more than 500mA... Express-charges the HTC Incredible I use my Droid Unbelievable as my primary GPS car navigator, so I needed a car charger that could keep up with the power needs of Google Maps with the GPS direction. The Belkin USB adapter says it puts out 1A, but my Incredible showed that is was only getting a trickle-weight (500 mA) from it, because the Belkin charger does not implement the latest USB charger standard (sharp the data pins for a fast charge). This charger shows up as an AC charger on my Incredible, and it is skilled to charge my phone even while I am using it for GPS navigation. Recommended for any newer phone that uses a micro-USB connector. "Pretender" version of this charger was shipped to me Patron Video Review Length:: 1:10 MinsThe version of this charger shipped to me is a knock-off. There is no Motorola sticker, the micro-USB connector end is a pop-together part, rather than overmolded like the real version. The PVC cable overmold is mis-shaped, the contact springs are vague and the fit and finish of the plastic parts are low quality. So, it is just a car charger, right? Maybe. But what if the electronics are sub-exemplar also? What if the PVC overmold is contaminated as well? I am going to return this item and not plug it into Wife's phone.

Customer ReviewsSuperlative phone(I would imagine someone investigating purchasing a cell phone would do some price comparison, $700 for this phone is a bit upright.)The Nexus S is an interesting phone. It is the sequel to Google and HTC's Nexus One (incorrectly regarded as a flop) and like the iPhone 4 it sets the bar for the known generation of smart phones.I bought this phone on its release day, so I am very familiar with what it can do. I came from using a which was another notable unlocked phone. But this year alone has seen a lot of improvements in what phones can do.The Nexus S, made by Samsung, is a gorgeous contraption. It is a little underwhelming in person, glossy all-black, but its a... Don't get fooled by the low charge There are many sites which show the model number as i9020 and ship i9023 instead.i9023 is a cheaper facsimile(almost 100$ less) without the Super AMOLED screen which is the best feature of this phone according to me as the processor zip,RAM capacity are not as good as some of the latest dual core phones and this phone has a below average freestyle which lasts for only one day.I was expecting Amazon to be truthful to the customers and mention the display type in the fallout description. As the other clever websites, they also chose to misguide the customers by not including that part of the spec in the matter description.Try calling the customer care and confirming about this item, you will receive only vague answers. it is not US, it is not Wonderful AMOLED, it is not i9020 I bought it equitable 2 weeks ago.I bought it especially for its Super AMOLED screen. But you should know that before buying:There is truly 2 kinds of Nexus S:i9020 (i9020a i9020t) and i9023i9023 is the european version or non-USA/UK variant. It has S-LCD screen. Worse colors, worse black.google it and check example photos (I found some on flickr)Wonderful LCD variant is unable to display black color, it's just dark grey. More distinct colors are provided by Super AMOLED screen of i9020 variant. As far as I know, this is the only distinction. If you want to root your phone, it is important again.Apart that,This is another perfect phone by Google (regardless of Samsung).

As another reviewer stated, the phone as advertised will not line on AT&T 3G. However, the phone I purchased is actually sold through Wireless Experts. A day after the order was submitted, I received an email from Wireless Experts asking me to call them. I called and was well-versed asked if my intention was to use this phone with AT&T, to which my reply was, Yes. The person at Wireless Experts told me the alteration between the phones--which basically Amazon lists, but if you don't know what to exactly look for, then you won't know the contradistinction (as I didn't). So, Wireless Experts upgraded my order to a Nexus S that is compatible with AT&T's 3G network--and a white one at that!About the phone, as the interest of the review states, it is a great phone. The lack of a MicroSD card slot is honestly not as bad as what I thought it would be. The majority of files I would put on the phone would... Watch out - Do Not Buy From Wire4Less (sams distributions llc) Be on one's guard - If you are buying from Wire4Less (sams distributions llc) - you might end up getting a refurbished phone. That is what I got, and that is what I am returning.Amazon requirements to discipline this "seller" as quickly as possible because I do not want any more customers being misled.- Thank you. unfactual advertising piece arrived in time coz i paid for 2 days shipping, comes with the ff.,no original box instead they use vehicle case from HTC mytouch phone,a manual with 11 pages on it,not even mentioned if it is for nexus s.replacement stallion although is samsung but you'll know it's not the original.no earphone.replacement battery with no name or brand on it.dies within 7 hrs of standby, presumably it will last a couple of hour if you use it.phone has no scratch or whatever, don't know if it's new or not, because there is no plastic protector on it which you can find in any brand new phone.i paid for a new phone because the adds say so,but preferably i got this.wire4less shame on you!

Customer ReviewsSmashing phone with the best display I've ever seenI was a teeny-weeny apprehensive when I picked this phone up, knowing that the Galaxy Nexus would be announced and coming out soon, but I'm as a matter of fact happy I went with the GS2. The phone feels amazing to hold, it's really light, and the flash is incredible. I don't get into the iPhone/Android wars, but finally I have a phone that doesn't get written off as discard by my friends once they've taken a look at the phone and played around with it.Pros - Very light, but feels solidly built - Remarkable screen - Very fast web browsing performance - Good battery life (I turn off details while on WiFi and at the end of the work day I still have about 75% battery left) - Doesn't feel large in my pocket - Call quality is good - Camera is great and has a very fast shutter - Large screen makes typing MUCH easier with the software keyboardCons - T-Mechanical installs tons of extra apps that are junk (I use LaucherPro and hide them) -... iPhone 4s - Astound - or Galaxy S II??? (One major gripe) If you find yourself torn between the GS2; T-Facile's other flagship, the HTC Amaze; and jumping ship for the iPhone 4s, this review is for you. If you're new to Android, then read on, too.Confound vs GS2Amaze is the GS2's only real competition on T-Mobile at the moment. Amaze is more stylized, but the GS2 is a lot thinner. The GS2 has a larger camouflage which, depending on your tastes & size, may or may not be a plus. The GS2 has the most beautiful screen colors, saturation & vividness, but Confound has a higher pixel density for clearer images & text. Amaze has a fancier drug interface, but Launcher Pro Plus or SPB Shell 3D can be downloaded on either. Bottom line - They're both very competitive. However, if you plan to take more favourably of the hd video recording, the sound quality of recorded video on the Amaze is unacceptable. This is the only noteworthy difference. I exchanged my Thrill for this very reason. You can hear an example of the quality by searching... The phone is dreadful. The super-amoled+ display is unbelievable! I got mine about 2 weeks ago, in a little while after it came out. There is nothing about this phone I would change! It's fast, it's slick, and the screen is absolutely gorgeous. It takes semiprecious stone clear pictures and makes excellent HD movies. You will be getting a boat load for the value. And T-Mobile's service is FAST, although I only use the 4G internet inside the car for the lack of a wi-fi hot-spot. Even my friends with the latest iPhones have told me this guard is a lot prettier than theirs. If I were to complain about a single item, it would be that the HD video gets a little choppy IF you are affecting the camera around too fast. This did not affect my review (still 5 stars) because it's a phone for crying out loud, not a professional HD camera! The calls are very direct and the reception is great. The fact that I can use Skype to make calls and other apps to make video calls through the Internet is righteous awesome. I have talked to several friends in foreign...

Do not see your phone on this list? PLEASE feel free to contact us. What this means is your phone will charge in less without surcease than with most other car charges. Most car chargers only supply 500 ma to 800 ma, which Droid detects as "USB Charging". This car mount supplies as much as two amps. In short, the battery takes less time to charge, and Droid detects it as "AC Charging". I use it to simultaneously dictate my phone and supply power to my window mounted GPS.Before you purchase any car charger, check the productivity amperage rating on it. The stock AC charger that comes with your smartphone supplies 1 amp (1000 ma), so you will want to purchase a car charger capable of supplying that in order to charge in AC mode. Even though this charger supplies around 2 amps, your phone should draw out only what it needs. I'm not certain what the maximum charge rate is for various phones and devices, but 2 amps is enough for most devices, including the IPad.Oh, and do... Works but !! It works okay but the fa/case is starting to come apart. It lasted about a month or so. I am going to have to super seal the case back together. It still charges phone. It split in half! I had my adapter for less than a week before it truly came apart. I pinched the springs with my finger tips, and the unit split down the side. This spin-off *could* work properly, but I never got mine to work because it broke so quickly. If you buy this, superglue the sides together! |
