Chap Video Review Length:: 0:41 MinsI just received my Delkin Camera Mount today. This video is the examination I did with my Sony HDR-CX7 HD Handycam in the afternoon. It is very easy to use. The suction cup holds very tight even outside the car. I moved it to 8 positions around the car. The shooting was done in less than an hour.I first though of using the suction cup from my GPS to confine my handycam before, but it would be no way steady as a dedicate device, so I did some research and found this low price camera mount. It comes with Crest Extender, which in this video, I didn't have to use it at all.

Leave out Camera Mount For Car!
I received this three duration ago and tried it out today. I set it up on the inside of the front windshield of my car,along with my Camcorder(had to use the extention also)and took my half hour urge to work. This mount just stayed solid on the windshield and held the camcorder very stable. When I got to work it was a cheap early so I checked out the video and it was awesome! Very well made and you can point your device on several angles, also the suction cup is very balanced. I would recommend this mount to anyone.

I am a trade driver and recently a man accused me of running over his dog,I did not however it did convince me of trying a dash cam.I bought this one because of price to try as a bad.To my surprise it does a lot more than I imagined.I stuck it on my windshield up in the high middle and plugged it in to the cig lighter.2 weeks went by and a window tinting car cut me off in above.If you go to my youtube you can see how awesome this cam is....PLUS the vid on youtube is my phone recording off my laptop...I'm not erudite enough and have not the software to edit videos.The programming is a little funky on the cam,like setting the period and date,but if you play with it for awhile you will figure it out.The micro speaker play back is scratchy until you against back on your computer and as you can hear it is very adequate.I put a 2 g mem. card in and carry a spare now in case I need to save something...it's significance it! This cam far and above does what I need.I already have saved vids of 2 more...

I haven't had one problem with this working incorrectly.Issues I have with it (but for the assay, is just fine...):Picture isn't the greatest. It isn't real clear. If you're using this to be familiar with road signs or license plates, forget it. If you're using it to show that there are in fact other cars or magnanimous objects, it is just fine.I've noticed that switching into the 720p mode, it does swoop down on a little bit. It isn't bad though, just slightly noticeable.The infrared for nighttime use isn't the greatest either. It shows represent great to the front of the hood and then it loses all IR because of the headlights.It does feel a little cheap, but again, for the cost out, not bad.I have used this for a couple of weeks now. Very recently purchased
I fair-minded received this camera yesterday. I also bought a 16 gb memory card for it. Installed the mobile and after a minute figured out how to configure it using the menu. For the price it is fairly well constructed. The mount is admirable. It has a 270 degree lense which captures a wide field of view. I placed it on my windshield smoothly enough. Using the power cord to power the device makes it turn on and record when I start the car. There is very smidgin vibration coming through the mount to distort the video. I use the 640x480 size because it will be the most stable and smallest information size. Basically it does exactly what I expected it to do and the price cannot be beat. I previously had purchased a mount so I could use my Go off the deep end video recorder but that was a hassle. This camera is installed and runs automatically so I don't have to fool with it anymore. It is reduced insurance to document what happens in front of your car. I will be buying another one for my wifes car. I recommend this...

Lofty "little" camera

I tried the Oregon Systematic ACT3K and the picture quality of the Muvi is far better.The Veho folks aren't doing us or themselves any favors by shipping it with such a sub-criterion memory card though. At first I was slightly disappointed until I put in a 4Gb class 2 MicroSDHC card I had lying around. What an betterment. I've got a couple 8Gb class 6 cards on the way so I should be all set.Some things to note:1. Files are limited to 30 minutes at which conditions it will start a new file.2. For some reason all files are dated 12/31/2000 12:00 AM3. Files are stupendous. The 3:25 min. video I submitted was edited in Movie Maker and saved as a WMV at 2mbps and is 52Mb. The primitive raw 5 minute AVI file at 64kbps was 175 mb.4. The audio is awful but not really an end for me.The edited video in WMV was as close as I could get to the original. I've bought 3 or 4 cameras of this transcribe for use at work. I've bought 2 different helmet cameras that worked kind of okay, but this one knocks it out of the greens. The case is built like a tank, it's very easy to use. The voice activated function is brilliant. I'm using an 8gb chip in mine, so I can't talk about the quality problems I've heard about when using the 2gig chip that ships. I've habituated to it the past couple days testing it by using the clip mount to clip it under my rear notion mirror facing forward and I can tell you there are no police dashboard cameras that can beat the video. The camera focuses consummately through the windshield and the angle of view is wide enough to capture a perfect scene. Low light is large, used it at a shooting range yesterday and once I figured out the proper placement the videos were considerable even in reduced lighting. If you need a tiny camera with great quality this is the one. My one complaint was when I installed the driver disk I began getting com errors...
Short uses.....
Purchased one of these and immediately rigged it up on the tiedown mount of an RV8 aircraft and flew it thru barrel rolls and high speed (200mph+) passes at airport. Camera did a very admissible job, only a slight pause for some unexplainable, reason (very slight). Handled the lighting variables in okay shape. Excellent for the cost, and this is coming from a retired USAF Motion Picture Cameraman who has done several kinds of these applications on higher hastiness aircraft.

Horrific deal
This by-product was delivered quickly and was in good condition. The directions were lacking but the flexcope was easy enough to conspicuous a rely out. I am useing it for a droid razr and my itouch both fit perfectly because of the holding device. The holding ruse is a little flimsy but it works good enough to use. Besides that the rest of the product is well made and likes very strong. I would guide buying this for mounting your device.
This mount stands 9 inches overdone and features a three inch suction cup. Standard mounting screw for the bottom of your camera. Bends to your desired cusp and orientation.

I would get hold of Kodak and ask to be sure that you can record while it's connected to the A/C power charger (not all devices will r while charging). The power adapter will work in your car if you use a power inverter that meets the voltage requirements
