Loyal idea, but bad decissions and too limited
This work is a great idea. A small wearable camera. Who wouldn't want that? Well, unfortunately, there are a slew of flaws with this device. For one, the quality is not very good. 15 frames per second and low resolution. This means your videos are not booming to look as good as the example videos. Also, the camera has a somewhat narrow field of scheme. It would be much better if it taped a wider angle, because you are not going to be that good at aiming the thing. (You can kinda see the impact in their sample video on YouTube where the guy proposes to his girlfriend and video tapes mostly her chest... it's involuntarily witty). Also, somehow the camera would need a serious image stabilizer. I have no idea how that would work with a camera like that, but the authenticity is that people move their heads a lot and very fast and with the low frame rate and resolution, that is a problem to begin with, and even if that was improved, people watching your...

I deliberate on this thing works great for what it is...
Hey, if you're in the family way HD quality video on a device you wear over your ear...well, you're kinda out of luck at the moment (though I'm sure that's hope in the not too distant future). But this device actually records better video than I expected. Of dispatch, maybe I just had low expectations. I think really though, I just had realistic expectations and the Looxcie has met or exceeded those. I was thrilled to see this ruse in the pages of Popular Science a couple months ago, then bummed to find out that it was not available for the iPhone at that period. Luckily they got the iPhone version ready before the Christmas season and my wife hit a home run by making safe it was under the tree in time. I've only been using the Looxcie for one day so far (since Christmas), but I've recorded a bunch of clips and also downloaded the full video buffer (a welcome new feature) to my Mac (a very simple process) and the video looked rather good. Yeah, it's a little grainy, but not bad...

Exclusive of product with superior support
I've been looking for a wearable cam for some age. When I saw Looxcie I wanted one immediately, it's not just a cam, as an added bonus it's also a bluetooth headset with which you can make calls and correlate with talk back to a be accountable incoming calls. But of course, the main thing is the cam, I've not seen a wearable cam at this price square anywhere. In fact, I've not seen a wearable cam at all being this easy to handle. It's super easy to install and use. Brace it with your Iphone or Android-phone from the control panel where you usually pair bluetooth-devices. Download the LooxcieMoments-app from Appstore or Robot market respectively run the app and you're good to go. By the way, you don't have to install any app or pair it, you can use the device anyway to record stuff. But you won't be accomplished to use phone as a viewfinder and other features the apps contain. But you can still transfer the clips using USB. But of orbit, you should install the app, they're free. Fantastic Device for its Purpose
The Looxcie is everything I expected it to be - a reasonably becoming quality, unobtrusive wearable camera. The bluetooth sync with my Nexus One is sometimes temperamental, but I can as per usual get it to work by either power cycling the Looxcie or turning off and on the Bluetooth on my phone. The small red light can be simply blocked by a small black sticker.I wasn't aware that the earpiece made a beep every 30 seconds (audible to me, not to others) when recording. That is benevolent for timing use of the moments button, but a bit annoying when using for long periods of time.I have tolerant of the Looxcie while doing street photography, particularly when getting photos of police and protesters. I take exalted quality imagery with my real camera, but have the Looxcie running to capture any impromptu encounters with those who don't inclination to have their actions recorded. They focus on my Nikon, and not my bluetooth headset.

I DONT fancy Miss Right.. I want Miss Right Now!! this could be the underlying theme for the LX2 Digital Video cam system and Looxcies latest antiquated at the always-on videocam market, Looxcie.com is the ONLY player in this space right now. Being the proud owner of 2 LX1 Video cams(so I can scourge between them) I quickly ordered Looxcies latest product the LX2 system in the 5 hour capacity. First Impressions? I am even more impressed with this part than the original LX1, The folks at Looxcie.com have indeed been listening to their user/customer base.. A Proficient Invention with Great Customer Service!
If your looking for a circumspect quality camera that can work independently from your smartphone, look no further. This is an amazing little impressive camera that connects to your iPhone or Android device via Bluetooth and will totally blow your persuasion. At first I had a few quirks with the camera, but after speaking with their wonderful Customer Service, they were able to elevate my issues, and I'm once again a satisfied chap. The video quality is great as well. Once you either download the video onto your phone or if you share it via email or common media, the playback is absolutely perfect quality. It even shoots 320p, which for the size of this camera is incredible. I read a few of the other reviews prior to buying and I was a little pessimistic, but don't let them deter you because it is seriously importance every penny. I wouldn't be surprised if you see more of these being used by OWS participants because they are super discrete(looks like a daily BT Headset) and they shoot clear...
