The one to measure!
This is an renowned product. Solid, attractive construction. Simple to use, with little to no chance of moving the unbecoming adjustment at the wrong time. Easy to set up, easy to tighten just where you want it, a charge piece of equipment. I use this on a set of Manfrotto 055XWNB legs, for a reasonably affordable mounting system. If I were to dissipate more money, I'd go for better legs. I would leave the head as-is regardless of what legs I purchased. The only caveat on the head is the apt-release system. I have both Really Right Stuff and standard Arca-Swiss plates. The RRS plates are fractionally wider than the A-S genre, and as a result I need to do a bit of adjustment screw spinning when moving between some of my pieces of equipment if I thirst for to do the "slide in from the end" mounting technique. Not an issue if I'm fully opening the clamp to do a drop-in mount. This isn't a big engage in, but I may have purchased the screw-clamp model (for +/- $10 less)...

Excluding ballhead, highly recommended
This ballhead is a joy to use. I've had it while shooting as a hobbyist, and then later as a thorough. The typical shoot involves setting the resistance based on the weight of the camera and lens. It's faithful to do based on feel, takes less than 10 seconds on average to get it perfect. After the resistance is set I can reframe as needed without needing to avail oneself of the knobs. It's an eye opener the first time you use a high quality ballhead. Something I really liked about the strength knob is that the resistance scale is free floating, meaning you can set how much resistance '10' represents on the lower. It's handy to have if your camera is extra light or extra heavy. A 10 for my camera can show the same resistance to movement as a 10 for yours, once the scale is adjusted. On a ballhead without this adjustment, if you have a heavy camera you can go close by the highest number on the scale trying to get the resistance just right, and then the numbers lately look...

Marked product - totally worth it.
I have had the Arca Swiss Z1 SP for over 3 years now. It has served me well and has never let me down in all this lifetime. I used it during several international trips across the world and when coupled with my Gitzos (Series 3 and 5 from their systematic underline) has delivered critically sharp images, without fail. It is true that the manufacturer of Arca Swiss appurtenances is pretty reclusive and don't have even a viable website, but I simply cannot find fault with the product and have never needed any variety of service on it.

Brilliant Clamp
I bought this as a replacement for my Arca Swiss Clamp. Works very well for light DLSR. For Bigger DLSR, I recommend buying a different one.

Horrific alternative to pricier plates
I got this mention to have an L-plate on my Pentax K-5. It fits snugly without rotating and the lip on the bracket fits extraordinarily against the back of the camera body, making it very secure. It fits into the two Arca-Swiss tripod heads that I own. It does NOT assign the battery door of the K-5 to open when installed. Not a problem for me, but I may but a few mm off the end to allow the battery door to available.
I attraction it! Way better than I expected!
I had been looking at the At the end of the day Right Stuff L plates for my new 60D, but I'm so happy I saved money and went with this plate. It fit my 60D wholly. I was concerned about it covering the battery compartment, but not at all. It's solidly built and beautiful. I'm thrilled I went with this!!
Salubrious Quality
I was surprised at the physique quality of this L-Bracket. I do not own any original arca swiss equipment to compare but i can tell from the finish and weight that it will last. Frenzy very neatly on a Nikon D200 allowing full opening of battery compartment. However it does not aside the side caps for the USB and video out/power adaptor to open (hence 4 stars). Personally i don't mind this because i do not use these services on the D200 since i use a card reader. I love the slim design and ablity to clamp camera picture to do panoramas. Bought this with their 60mm arca type QR clamp and both came in well padded boxes BUT with no manual/instructions. The fastener is also excellent quality (see my review for it - [...]).

Marvellous PanHead
I bought this PanHead along with the Induro AT114 Tripod to imagine pictures to turn into panoramas. I'm not sure what the "1-Way" means in its name, but it easily adjusts to any configuration for unvarying or fisheye panorama pictures. Indexing marks make it very easy. This sturdy, drunk quality PanHead not only is easy to setup and adjust, but is a work of art in itself. Looks great - works noble
The new standard for tripod heads
I am to the nth degree pleased with the performance of the Induro PHQ1. Since it was released, I have been eyeing it, but really wasn't sure if it was merit the price tag. Even more frustrating, living in Hawaii, I was unable to find a local shop that stocked the effect - most had yet to hear of the product. Since I am a very hands on try-before-you-buy kind of photographer, not to mention the lack of overall reviews around the internet, I remained stuttering to purchase it. Having finally taken the leap and purchased the PHQ1, I can unequivocally state that this is the first-rate tripod head I've used to date, and for me it is worth the price. The construction is very robust and forceful. Nary a bit of wiggle or unsteadiness at any joint or on the mounting plate. And while of solid construction, it indeed doesn't weigh a considerable amount, especially given the features and functionality of the unit. As for the functionality, peer at the clear and outstanding...
Amazon screwed the Crown but ts still worth 5 stars
This is a 5 way capsule head (no such thing as a 1 way ball head). I got it for repeatability, flexibility and ease of positioning proficiently. I am using it for forensics and table top work; it is great. It doesn't have the precision of some of the higher end 3 way heads but it is a lot more compliant and costs $100s less. I plan to use mine mostly with the Joby Gorilla Pod for a project detailing wood finishes. Major gadget if you need it. BTW don't take this out of the box and go on a paid shoot. It is easy to adjust but complicated and you don't want to look like a dog mountain climbing a ladder in front of family, friends or clients. BTW very limited use in video. I think that it would be of the most use on slowly evolving scenes or where you attractive much lock the camera down.

with a mud-slide-fix layer like-minded system which is restrictive in plating options, though there are plates that can't be found beyond, in the US anyway - this ballhead + brace choice expenditure about $300 new. Then there's the one with a 1/4" function which can be modified to undergo an arca-swiss in accord system. There are a lot of Arca Swiss of one mind capsule heads handy....
