Comparatively worth value.
I can't take it I paid fifty-two dollars for a Wimberley lens plate. Maybe the Wimberley is slightly nicer, but this Fotopro lens plate appears to be only up to the task. Good quality machining and anodization. Some people may think the price for the Fotopro itself is turbulent for a machined piece of aluminum (really, it is), but having gotten inured to what photographic appurtenances costs, this is, comparatively, a good value.
Very righteousness value for money
Got this plate as a less overpriced alternative to use on my Sirui head. Fits perfectly. However, it needs a tool (a coin for instance) to attach to the lens/camera tightly. The Sirui plate does not need anything but it is almost twice the price. Married it to my Sigma 70-200 lens collar and will leave it there permanently...so the need for a coin to pin/detach from the collar is no longer an issue for me.

Very neat product at a great price.
I needed a acute, inexpensive Arca compatible plate for my SLR that had an integrated lug for a hand strap (my preferred way to hold a camera). Most all plates I found with the lug were fairly expensive until I found this product. The combined plate and strap were cheaper than most plates alone. I didn't have a clue as to who RainbowImaging was and I in effect didn't need another hand strap, but I figured at the price, what did I have to loose. The first thing I noticed when I received the include was how well the items were presented. It was in a heavy gauge, attractive black box and the plate and strap were both in their own drawstring bounce. The plate itself exhibits proper tolerances and the plating is of decent quality. The neoprene on the camera side along with the slotted mounting dive should allow secure mounting to most any SLR and not just Canon as indicated. The strap assembly is made of legal leather and the hardware is adequate. Once mounted, it is secure...

Makes working with a tripod a lot easier...
I purchased some RRS arca-swiss parts - a fleet-release clamp for my tripod head, an L-bracket for my camera, and a flash bracket. It's all great junk and has a beautiful finish.Later, I realized that I needed another clamp for my other tripod and decided to get some lens plates for my want lenses. I was concerned because it is said that RRS clamps only work with RRS and Wimberley plates. I ordered a for my other tripod because the plates are of one mind with it and I figured that if necessary that's where I would use them.When the plates arrived, I tried them with my RRS clamp - no problems whatsoever. The bracket is nice and tight, but not tighter than with the RRS lens plate. Nothing moves. Perfect fit. The finish will reveal how A-OK it is...

Capital product. As good as RSS, better than Kirk.
I've got QR plates on all my tripod collars. This arca-swiss QR plate is as great as those by RSS, but less expensive. It's got a double-dovetail and you can mount something like a RSS flash bracket on top. (Kirk plates are NOT dual-dovetail, and Kirk plates are a VERY tight fit in RSS lever-release clamps. This is MUCH better than a Kirk plate.) This Fotopro is a proficient fit. Design, machining and anodized finish are excellent. Highly recommended. I'm using this one with my Canon 100mm macro L f/2.8 IS tripod revere.
