Renowned lapel mic for the price
The Audio Technica ATR-3350 Lavalier Omnidirectional Condenser Microphone appears to be a not quite identical replacement lavalier mic from the recently discontinued Audio-Technica ATR-35S Lavalier Microphone. Reading some blog counsel about video podcasting and playing around a bit with making YouTube videos, "sound" in video is mostly the part that makes video quality bad. So I was looking for a reasonably price lapel mic to use. The ATR-3350 is quite budget-priced considering that you can easily spend $200 for a professional model lapel mic. If you read some of the "1" (animosity it) reviews from the ATR-35S, they pretty much all related to "low volume issues". You may see some similar reviews here as time goes on. Incomparable for the money
Purchased this mic in pattern to do interviews and video presentations and it has been excellent. Have a professional Shure wireless set up as well, but have found this to be an great option when I need to move quickly. It allows me to use my Sony HD handycam with a minimum of additional equipment and allows for a like the clappers of hell set up. Have used the mic for approximately 10 hours and the battery has not yet run out. Be sure to purchase additional handle batteries when you purchase this, though. They always run out right when you don't have them on hand. L-45 batteries are really inexpensive. I purchased 50 for under $10 here on Amazon. Would plainly recommend this mic as a primary or backup mic for any prosumer set up where the subject isn't going to be moving around (interviews, training, etc.)

An remaining compact microphone
My first resistance to this microphone was astonishment at is its small size. It's larger than most lapel microphones, but that's because of the physical requirements for sound-cancellation. Still, it's very small, especially for a true "cardioid" (noise-cancelling) microphone. The show is superb! As Jim wrote, it is very sensitive. I tested it in a quiet room at distances up to 10 feet to a different place. At about 3 feet, my voice was strong and clear. At 10 feet, it was obviously remote, but the strike one was good and very clear, with no echo. Off-axis, the sensitivity drops rapidly. At about 70 degrees, the seem weakens noticeably, and beyond 90 degrees, it is almost inaudible. M. L. Strickland is correct in warning that the microphone requires superficial power. The instructions on the box specify 1.5 - 10 volts. Writers who reported that the microphone was very unsubstantial were almost certainly using a recorder that does not provide the necessary excitation voltage...
Does just what you covet
For a cheapo microphone, I was pleasantly surpised with how well this worked at picking up speakers who were a dissociate away. You may have to adjust the sensitivity of the recorder, because the sensitivity of this mic is significantly higher than the built-in stereo mic, and recording to 'hot' will denouement in garbled, distorted sound. The Olympus recorders seem to select sensitivity with labels like 'direction' and 'conference', where 'conference' would normally be used in a distant recording situation but if the record bar hits the repay side of the screen you want to set it to the lower sensitivity mode 'dictate'. In any case, with this (mono) mic you should variety your recording mode to Mono so you can get double the record time.

credible in a noisy setting
I did an vetting in a noisy restaurant and put the recorder on the table with the mic pointed straight up. The mic picked up both voices very well and cut down the history noise by at least 70%. The interview would have been impossible otherwise.

terrific fulfilment - an essential product for video interviews
The Azden transmitter-recipient system has operated marvelously well for me over scores of interviews. As an aspiring video maker it was a product I should have bought a large time ago. Mine is the 9v-powered model, not the AA. But it has proven well-made, light and easy to use. There's something ingenious about micing people with a lavaliere unit. I find that they enjoy the attention of attaching the mic and the professional set off that it brings to the taping. Being able to range abut the room while taping and simultaneously retaining passable audio is a remarkable experience. Another benefit of micing someone is that cuts way back on ambient noise. The din of voices neighbourhood your interview is a typical intrusion; using the lavaliere cuts out a great deal of the unwanted sonic message.
Dependable, manageable, not professional sound
Comprehensive, this is a good investment for beginning videographer. It works as described, yet I found that it's sound needed hang up work if it was going to be presaentable. My standards are not unrealistic, yet I was disappointed when I first worked with this mic. It comes with a lavalier mic, and a handheld. Of the two, the handheld pickup ameliorate, and is more manageable. Both only record in mono, so you have to set your camera to place the signal on the two channels, or do so in postproduction. Still, if you fob off on to use a mic that is dependable, is inconspicuous, and has a small learning curve, this mic could serve your purposes.

Not bad for the charge
Affordable and goods. Didn't pick up a lot of background music or talking, and got a good deep sound from the herself wearing it. Used it for a wedding and the other wireless systems used didn't interfear with it's opperation nor did the experience clog up the mic.

Friendly Wireless Mic, For The Price - Recommended
We bought the Pyle-Pro Lavalier Wireless Microphone System for use with the . We needed an supplementary wireless mic for our workshop presenters and this was a very inexpensive choice. For the price, this worked a lot better than I expected but it did take some calibrating to the "Trim Screw" on the receiver to get the clarity and range needed. We also had to tape the little wire sensor up so it wasn't hanging in front of the speaker (this might not be an issue for you, depending on where you plug yours in). There are a lot of very expensive wireless mic units that I'm ineluctable would provide better sound and range, but this one works just fine for our uses. Comprehensive, a good value for the low cost of this unit.

A- Reception with Only 1 Complaint
I honourable bought 3 units for my Professional D.J. Service. Me and my partner tested these units yesterday and I walked around our bit and went on the other side of the Cement Wall Garage and had crystal clear reception. The DJ system we were using was trap inside of our office. I am very pleased with this unit, as I have PylePro Amplifiers that have been very good to me for the last several years. My only grumble is the "String Antenna" is very fragile. Be very careful with it because once you rip the antenna the entire unit is junk. Total I am satisfied and look forward to using these units at my next wedding on the 19th!
Spacious system
I have only been using this for about 2 weeks. I have had no problems with it. It delivers bright undistorted sound on both the A & B channels. I have only used it in ranges of 20 to 30 feet and cannot remark on longer ranges. I do wish it had a transmitter volume control which I was surprised it lacked. I have to do any abundance adjustments at the PA device. For the price, I think they could have added that, but I am content with the product.

Azden's WMS-PRO wireless microphone system offers untethered ease of understanding and clear FM transmission from compact, unobtrusive components. The system consists of Azden's WM-PRO transmitter, WR-PRO recipient, EX-503 clip-on electret microphone, and EX-413 handheld microphone. Very lucky with Azden
I'm a bit surprised at the reviewer who gave only three stars to this system and said in his term: "I haven't used this system." How can anyone rate it without using it? I've used this system for years and have gotten great blooming. I've also used higher-priced wireless systems, and to my ear, there is no difference. Also, this cheap little Azden system is still effective strong after some of the other brands bit the dust. I don't think wireless lav systems can get the great audio you get with a shotgun mic, a resound, and a sound person, but those things are just not in my budget.

get the better of for this price
The Azden wireless mic system is large value for the the money. Out of the box and in operation in exactly 3 minutes. There was one thing that was a problem, but it wasn't the mic's trouble, it was mine. I didn't read carefully enough to notice that it was a mono input jack on the receiver element. My camcorder requires stereo input. I needed to buy an adapter to convert mono to stereo input, so impression was pumped into both channels. ($2 jack at RS)

For the payment, you can't get better.
Candidly, this is a great wireless lavalier. I borrowed the Azden WMS-PRO from my college and used it for about a week. I have employed more expensive brands and models that sound great, but for the price the Azden can't be beat! I will quite end up buying this one, but have been looking around for the best price on a different Azden model. I'm on a tight budget, so I will very likely just go for the Azden WLX-PRO or the WMS-PRO. Azden makes great mics for the price.

Wearable microphone makes recording hands-open
While I've seen some note having problems with this memorandum, I've found it to be trouble free. Have recorded a 50 minute lecture I had to give and was then able to edit the audio to span with a PowerPoint for a video podcast for my English class. One note, when using with the XtremeMac inferior unit, there is no need to change the source setting unlike the directions say. Both the flexible microphone and this use the same placement!

The best lecture tool
I am a unimportant school educator and I use this lapel mic to attach to my MicroMemo to record my lectures into my iPod for my LD kids who cannot take notes. I don't podcast the lectures, although that would be credible, too. I am going to be teaching my kids how to record into their iPods so they can provide narrations and soundtracks to their presentations and PowerPoints, as well. Hands down the conquer use of technology in my possession so far!

Doesn't occupation with Memomic! (But DOES work w/iTalk!)
I own both the Griffin iTalk and the XtremeMac Micromemo. I also purchased the MemoMic. Strangely, I am unqualified to get the MemoMic to work w/the MicroMemo. I do have the switch set correctly; however, recording is simply background deride. I AM able to get it to work w/the Griffin iTalk. iPod 2g nano plays back fine w/this workaround. Although I'm less than thrilled w/this compact, at least it works w/the iTalk. Very strange!
